If it comes and goes while the air conditioner or heater are working, and has an amonia smell to it, a mouse may have gotten into the external vents. Youwill need to remove the outer cover and clear out the nest.
If it is the result of mold or mildew from the inside and seems to come out when the car has been sitting for a while, especially in the sun, you will need to shampoo the carpet and upholstery using a detergent with fungicide (do yourself a favor and have the interior detailed instead).
If it is a sour smell due to something being spilled inside or in the trunk, again shampoo or detail the interior.

I had the same problem: at 50-55Mph, when accelerating, the engine would start shaking. When I released the acceleration the vibration went away. Also, it would shake badly when driving up hill and accelerating. Went to a mechanic and changed both catalytic converters (the first one melted and clogged the second one) did a complete tune-up, wheel balance and alignment. He also changed the rear engine mount. However, the van was still shaking but it was 50% better already. Next, he changed ALL engine mounts (supports) AND the right axle (drive shaft). Now the van runs like a champ and I could not be happier! I hope this helps. If you can do your own replacements you can save a lot of money!

From the rear the marks are two o'clock and ten o'clock. Then two o'clock ten o'clock on the front valve cover. On the crank, it's at one o'clock. However there are marks to show all the timing marks. If changing the timing belt, start on the front and back around the rear down to the crank shaft.

- 1.5 foot of electrical wire, with ends stripped, approximately 22 gauge. (Jumper Wire).
- Open the hood of your SUV.
- Behind the battery on the drivers side is a plastic covered connector labeled Diagnostics.
- Open the plastic cover on the Diagnostics port by pulling up on the edge near the FRONT of the vehicle.
- Get your prepped/stripped jumper wire and place one end in connector 6 as shown in the pictures.
- Run the other end of the jumper wire to the POSITIVE terminal on your battery, you can just push it into the little opening on there so it stays in place for a few minutes.
- Get into your vehicle with your key fobs.
- Put one key into your ignition and turn to ON position, DO NOT start your vehicle.
- If you just have ONE key fob to reprogram, when you turn the vehicle to ON, hold the LOCK button down for 3 seconds, the lights on the dash will go off, and you are done. Turn the key off, disconnect the wire, and try the key fob.
- If you have TWO key fobs to reprogram, turn the key to ON, hold the first LOCK button for 1 second, then the second one for 1 second. Turn the key off after the lights on the dash go off and remove the jumper wire. Test both Key Fobs.
