Gawain wants revenge of Lancelot because of the death of his brothers. However, when they meet on the battle field Lancelot refuses to fight him because they were once close. Lancelot is forced to fight him, but does not kill him and leaves Gawain wounded on the field of battle.

no because later the most powerful knight of the round table lancelot fell in love with her and they later had war but the war was ended. after that they declared war again and the person that was left in charge took control of the kingdom and king arthur fought the person who took control but lost his life that is how arthur died.

In 'Merlin', yes. In the legend, well, first, she wasn't the Lady Morgana, most people believe her name was Morgan Le Fay. And she was his half sister, her parents being Ygraine and Gorlois, the Duke of Tintagel (or Cornwall in some versions)

That is a very much loaded question because, in Camelot the best often turned out to be the worst. (What irony that such proved also the case for the "Camelot" of the 1960's!) However, by just about every measure the "best" knight of the Round Table was King Arthur's champion, Sir Lancelot.
