nothing happens. it's simply a matter of (typically) making idle adjustments after the engine and Carb. are up to normal operating temps. ( the exact required settings will be slightly different when cold, but will do no harm.)

usually its an issue with the reeds.and if you have a power valve it could be stuck open. but i would suggest having new reeds put in.
You have to take a multimeter and set it to the resistance mode (ohms), and put each lead to a different terminal, it should read 110 plus or minus 15
I would say that the carb is dirty, it needs to be taken apart and cleaned (all the jets and the sump need to be cleaned out with petrol). i would suggest you take it to your local mx macanic to get it done, for it is a tricky job.
thanx jules.
KTM Exhausts top brands are FMF, Yoshimura, Trail Tech, Lexx, Pro Circuit, Raven, and Pro Moto Billet. One person may prefer one brand, while another prefers another brand. There is no one brand that is better than the rest, they are all equal.
You need to learn how to read plugs properly.ride bike wide open down your street and hit kill button while bike is wide open, coast to side of road and remove plug while hot. This will give you an accurate reading of what color the plugs is while the bike is running withnload on it. There are plenty of pics onlineto show you rich or lean conditions on plugs.ideal is light brown.white ashy is too lean and black, wet plug is too much oil or a rich condition.
