What does isolation mean in lacrosse?
An isolation or "iso" is when the ball is worked around on offense until the attacking team gets the most favorable match-up (usually with a short pole defender).
The rest of the team will usually clear out of the dodgers way so he's got a clearer path to the goal.
Iso's can be done from the top of the restraining box, the sideline (or goalline extended) or behind the cage (or X).
How dangerous is it for a seven year old to be a lacrosse goalie?
Playing the goalie position for any sport can be a danger. However, in a seven year old league, the likeliness of a child getting hurt is moderate. Most kids, if they can get the ball to the goal at this age, will probably take a more "wild" shot and not really care how the ball enters the goal, as long as it does. Whenever you play goalie in a sport, there is always the possibility of getting hit. However a seven year old probably couldn't really cause any damage due to their newness to the game and the undeveloped shooting skills they would have.
It depends... if the seven year old is playing in a seven year old league, then probably not, although if they get hit by the ball, it will probably really hurt them. If the seven year old is playing with older kids, then he/she will probably end up getting hurt though, unless the person has good accuracy and can avoid the goalie.

Why is baseball better than lacrosse?
Well..... Honestly, I hate baseball and love lacrosse... but I think it's because lacrosse is very fast-paced and baseball can drag on slowly. Also, if you're into contact sports, it's obvious to see that lacrosse is mainly whacking people and baseball rarely has any contact and hitting. Anyways, although baseball is more popular, lacrosse, (in some people, such as me, have opinions) that lacrosse is way better.

Who are the players that score goals in Lacrosse?
The most common people who score goals in lacrosse, are people who play the attack position. They are stationed on the opponents side of the field, ready to receive pass and cannon a shot into the goal. Midfielders(also known as Middies) are also very common scorers in Lacrosse. They can run anywhere on the field, but they start in the middle. They are not always near the opponents goal, so it is less often that they score. Also, It is not a middies main job to score, but it is an attack player's main job to score. There is one more player that can score, and that is the goalie. The goalie is allowed to run across the field with the ball and score. This is a very risky move though. Because if an opposing player steals the ball from the goalie, they could run to the goalie-free net and pop it in. So that is the lineup for the players that score goals in lacrosse.
