Well it depends on what type of pollution it is. If it is air pollution then the ozone layer gets destroyed and plants get dry( no hydrosphere meaning water). if it island pollution such a lake being polluted with liquids and solids, then it would kill the fish and cratures living in it and then it would affect all the animals around also.

Human Health Un-managed disposal of hazardous waste can be extremely dangerous. People can be exposed to chemical and toxic waste. If too much lead and chemicals are left indisposed of the results can be fatal. Lead poisoning can occur from batteries and people can intake sewage borne diseases Wildlife(plants) Spilling chemical fluids on the ground will contaminate the land. Spilling oil or gas fluids will damage the earth. As a result the trees will also be damaged by not getting any energy from the sun and the oil will spread out through the ground, causing the trees to die. Sewage can also affect animals as the water becomes contaminated causing death of marine life and lack of drinking water for animals

Public transportation or carpooling is a step that individuals can take to control air pollution. Another step is recycling items that can be made into something new. Reusing items around the house is also useful for controlling because less items will reach the landfill which is a big source of air pollution.

In general, follow the solid waste mantra - "Reduce, Reuse, Repair, And Recycle" - and this will reduce air pollution as well from transporting, treating, or disposing of unnecessary wastes.

3. Eliminate Toxic Chemical Use at Home --- A surprising number of household or home shop chemicals are toxic and volatile. Many release vapors into the air, inside the home and out. This can be serious health threat to your family, and contributes to community-wide levels of air pollutants.

5. No Burn Barrels --- Northeast Wisconsin communities need to pass and enforce ordinances prohibiting individuals or businesses from burning trash in their back yards. This type of uncontrolled burning is extremely polluting, especially when many people are doing it. When trash is burned incompletely and at relatively low temperatures, a great deal of soot and ash is produced. Many plastics, coatings, inks, paints, metals and treated woods will produce toxic chemical air pollutants such as dioxin, lead, arsenic, chromium, etc.

6. Plant leafy trees and shrubs --- Deciduous trees and shrubs (the kinds that drop leaves in the fall) are excellent air filters to help reduce smog and cool the air on hot summer days.

Runoff can affect the environment because it can pick up chemicals on the ground such as gas, oil, etc. When it goes into the water, our water is contaminated, and then it goes in our water cycle and causes acid rain Example: I spilled gas on the ground it will enter our water cycle then go into streams, rivers, etc. Then it goes into our water cycle agin.

it effects the land because the more we make houses it destoys homes for all of the differnet animals that are in this world. we need to start going green and caring for the earth or it wont be healthy anymore. the more we make houses and plant crops the more it effects somwhere else so............. Chemical pollution is caused when foreign substances are allowed to enter soil and water by humans. They can make wild life or humans ill, depending on what the chemical is and how much was dumped.

Us we cause land pollution by throwing around rubbish

Land pollution is bad because it KILLS the ANIMALS. It also affects the growth of our future children.

How the land is defines what they can do to the land. The ancient Greeks lived on very rocky and non-fertile soil. So they grew grapes and olives. Nowadays the Greek olives and wine is famous. If land is misused they civilization of the area might not be able to fix that mistake which could affect culture drastically.
