There is a battery which we called laptop battery to offer power for the laptop

Try pressing the 'Number Lock' key once to turn if off and see if it helps.
Tapping the 'Fn' key five times may also work, however the first option worked for me.
No, in most cases you can not do this. Most of the time the connectors are not the same anyway, but even if they are, it is still not advisable. Many laptop computers run on slightly different voltages, and some use more amps than others. If you use the wrong voltage/amp rating, you could damage your notebook. If you know for a fact that the output voltage, amps and polarity are the same, and the connector fits, then you should be OK. If in doubt, don't do it without getting some assistance from a professional.

Best Buy does sell HP laptop computers. I would recommend for first time buyers that you go into the actual store and have the salespeople explain the laptop's features to you. For experienced buyers, however, I would recommend going to some website like Newegg for better deals.
Go to >My Computer. At the very bottom, it should show a picture of a video camera with 'USB Video Device #2'. Double click the picture and you should see the light for your webcam turn on and a live-feed video will appear. You can only take still photos from here. If you want further instruction on how to use this device with a specific program, please ask another question.

A computer itself does not require a product key they have service codes and for desktops they are located on the back, top or behind the front door panel if it has one product keys for a computer is usally for OS or operating systems and those can sometimes be found for windows based computers on a green or silver tag stuck to the same as the service codes. In any other case it is with the OS disk or book that came with the computer or that was bought can consist of 16-24 letters and or numbers
Turn your ThinkPad over, look on the bottom. There should be a sticker that has M/T and S/N on it. The "M/T" is your specific ThinkPad Model and Type. You need to know both the Model and the Type ... since many ThinkPad "models" have a dozen or so different "types" within that model family.
If there is no sticker on the bottom of the laptop chassis, or it was worn off, you can alway press F1 and bootup and go into the laptop's BIOS setup. The first screen of the BIOS setup will tell you the Model and Type.

The price of a Dell Latitude D410 laptop will vary depending on where one gets it. It will be cheaper if the laptop is used or on Amazon. If it is purchased brand new from the original manufacturer then it will usually be a little over $1000.
For a computer to do useful things, it has to be told what to do. That is where computer programming comes into play. However, computers require complex sequences of electrical signals which are difficult to learn and would require constant use of reference books. To simplify the process, you would learn a more human-friendly language, and a compiler converts what you type into the opcodes that represent these complex electrical signals. Then you would run a linker or similar build tool to add the required finishing touches and resolve all dependencies (references to other code and functions).
their are some that you have to plug in to your laptop and their is a new one that you don't even have to plug in to you laptop and you can link up to five (5) devices to that one its called a HOT SPOT ... i will posted the links ...
Most airlines will limit the amount of carryon luggage you can take. Three may be possible, but four is unlikely.
Its hard to think anybody who has bought a laptop would not know how... but here we go.
Ok what your looking for is an 'Ethernet Port' or as it should be called a 'Cat 5' port (Cat 5 is the name of a 'Internet,Ethernet' cable)
It will look something like this (Size/shape wont change from different laptops but placement will)

Ok, I'm assuming you've got your Modem pluged in and your Ethernet cable plugged into the Modem on the other side of the cable. (If not go on your Internet providers website and check how to do all that stuff)
Simply Plug the Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet port and Done :D
Enjoy your Internets ^_^
(How did they put this question on the internet without having it o.O!?)
It depends on what the manufacturer put in and if any was added by the buyer. The technical term for memory is RAM (Random Access Memory) You'll have to check the specs to see which computer has more. Popular stock RAM sizes are 512MB and 1GB of RAM. In general, desktops have the capacity to hold more RAM than laptops. Some laptops now hold up to 4GB of RAM, but you'll likely have to buy extra RAM to max it out. Some desktops now how up to 16GB of RAM. Ram is particularly important in Video and Sound editing. If you're simply needing to run Microsoft Office and surf the web, then a laptop with 1GB of RAM is probably all you'll need.
A variant when it comes to processors refers to related models of processors. For example, a variant of the Intel Core i3 processor is the Intel Core i5 processor.
No, you cannot download Snapchat with a laptop. Snapchat is a mobile app. It can only be downloaded on mobile phones, iPads, and iPod touches. Snapchat is a photo sharing app that allows friends to exchange photos that quickly disappear after viewing.
Go to engadget.com and look for 'how to unlock your edge-enabled sony vaio vgn-t350'
No - you use a Wifi card or USB Wifi adapter to access the router. Bluetooth operates on the same frequency as Wifi (2.4Ghz), however the transmission protocol is different and at a lower power.
"Cleaning a touchscreen laptop is difficult because you need to be sure not to make any scratches. They sell special microfiber cloths that are guaranteed not to scratch the surface, and you can wipe the screen down with these and a little windex if the screen is very dirty."
I don't understand how you've lost copy and paste, but if it's a windows computer then you should be able to use ctrl + c for copy and ctrl + v for paste.
Hope this helps :)
Yes they should atleast have A computer or laptop in their house, as well as a printer. Most teachers in middle school will expect printed, good copies of writing. I would suggest getting your own (I would get a HP or Dell) because then you can bring it to school and you do not have to fight over it between your parents or siblings. Keep in mind that if you get your own, it comes with responsibilitie, but those will loosen over the years with your laptop.
You can probably purchase one from the Sony company themselves, but you can also look at places online like amazon, walmart, or best buy. sometimes, someone may even be selling a refurbished one on ebay.
Essentially everything that a desktop does. Laptops, notebooks, ans Windows based tablets..., they are a portable version of a desktop computer. Because a notebook computer is designed to run on batteries, and to fit in a thin and light case, they cannot use the most powerful CPUs and graphics chips. Notably, most laptops are poor at gaming, which requires powerful and hot Graphic Processing Units (GPU).
