One way to remove chapstick stains from clothes that have already been dried is by applying a small amount of laundry detergent directly on the stained area. Gently rub the detergent into the stain, and then wash the garment in the hottest water temperature suitable for the fabric. Repeat the process if needed before air-drying the clothing.

Fabric softeners were invented when the detergent industry moved away from using "soap" and started using synthetic detergents, AKA surfactants, as the cleaning, foaming and emulsifying ingredients in laundry detergents. True soap forms familar soap-scum in hard water. A little of this was always left on clothes washed with soap and gave clothes just a touch of softness and flexibility (lubricity) but also could build-up over time causing dinginess. You might be able to get away with it once or twice, but overall, it is better that you do not. The dyes in clothes come out in the laundry water in small amounts. That is why clothes fade over time. If you are washing lights and darks together, when those dark dyes come out in the laundry water, they are going to be soaked up by the lighter clothes. Eventually, your lighter clothes will start to look pretty dingy, and since it is dye, you won't be able to do much about it.

Sorry to say but you can't remove bleach spots. Bleach obviously bleaches the color out of clothing. It may be possible for you to get cloth paint in the same color as the fabric at a craft store and if that fails then you're sunk.

Usually there is a cup inserted inside of your liquid softener dispenser. I remove it, clean it under hot, soapy water. Then I take "Simple Green" or any of the products that have "orange" in it and spray inside (you get this in the cleaning section of any large grocery store. Then use "Dawn dish soap" and squirt inside the dispenser and a little inside the washing machine itself and run through the normal cycle (on hot) as if you were washing clothes.

Step 1. Use WD 40 liberally on both sides of the stain. Allow the WD-40 to penetrate through the stain. The stain will begin to loosen. Test by touching the stain. Step 3.Finally, to remove any hidden traces of the stain, apply a stain stick, spray, or gel to the stained area and wash normally.

You didn't mention if you were hand washing some of your clothes, or, you were washing them in the machine. If you are washing them in the washing machine then you are using too much soap. I use liquid soaps instead of powdered. I often find that powdered soap can stick to clothing sometimes and also clog up the hoses and drains faster. If you are hand washing then use a gentle detergent such as ivory or even baby soaps and let soak, drain out the soap water and replace with tepid to cool water (cold water gets suds out faster) then place your item you are hand washing on a thick towel (lay flat) and roll the towel up to get excess water out and then place the item on another towel that is dry and let air dry. When using your washing machine you should put in a box of baking soda and put through a cycle (you can also use some Dawn dish soap that cuts grease) and put your washing machine through a full cycle to prevent clog build up from soaps. I do this every 2 months.

ok, lipbalm i believe is sort of a waxy substance... and the way i remove candle wax from my tablecloths is by putting the fabric between sheets of paper towel or any absorbent paper and going over it with a hot iron. the heat melts the wax and the paper absorbs it out of the fabric. change papers requently so you dont transfer the wax back into the material.

They don't suds up as much.
You can use regular detergent in a HE washer, just use about a third to a half of what you normally use in a regular machine.

Yes you can use. But if the front loading washers, if used with the right detergent are a great investment. You’ll save a lot of electricity and money as a result. Plus, front loaders are more sophisticated technology and hence arguably have been cleaning technology than the traditional top loaders.

Most people I have looked at say Dawn liquid is the best. Put some directly on the stain, rub it in by hand, and when launder as usual. Yeah, I agree Dawn is good. You might also try gojo hand cleaner or Simple Green, too.

Mix equal parts of vinegar and water, or use a mild detergent mixed with water. Dab the solution onto the stained area with a clean cloth, then blot with a dry cloth. Repeat as needed until the stain is removed.

I would say the best thing that you should use is the GROUT AND GRIME CLEANER which can be found at Costco,Target,and practically every store in The United States that sells household and emergency car products.
