What prevents you from learning?
There are so many things that could prevent you from learning. Mostly, they are things that cause you to lost your focus. To name some: # Personal issues. If you got in a fight with your best friend, you might have trouble focusing since you keep thinking about it. # Too hot/too cold in the room. As trivial as that sounds, it can prevent you from being able to focus as well. To deal with this, dress in layers. You can always take off your jacket if you get too warm but keep it on if you are too cold in the room. # Hunger. When your stomach is grumbing and gurgling, it is harder to think about things like the periodic table or your Spanish III vocab words. To remedy this, make sure you eat regular meals, especially breakfast. # Sickness. When you are not feeling well, you usually just want to sleep in your bed while wearing some pajamas, not learning the quadratic formula. Plus, it is hard to take notes when you keep sneezing. # Having a bad attitude. If you have an attitude about either the class or the material, it makes it harder to learn it. If you think that it is a stupid class, it is almost like having some kind of a mental block against the material. # Lack of sleep. When you don't get enough sleep, your mind fees like it is in a hazy fog and you just can't do things as well. To tell you the truth, caffeine won't always make it better. The only thing that can help is to get enough sleep.

The easiest way to memorize a long piece of writing is just to repeat it over and over. Start reading it out loud - yes, out loud does work better than just reading to yourself! - and after you read it 20 or 30 times (if you're paying attention when you read, that is) you'll know it!

It doesn't really matter what you put down, so long as you have spent a little time thinking. Of course, if you write that your jacket rode on the moon rocket, your teacher might not give you a very good grade. Here are some examples from our contributors: Ideas about an autobiography by a shoelace First think about your subject. Put yourself in the place of the shoelace.

What people have carried you?
Would you say or write 'is he an stupid' or 'is he a stupid'?
In the wording you have (Is he...), you would simply write "Is he stupid."
But, if there is a descriptive word after the word "stupid", ONLY then would you write, "a stupid". For example: "Is he a stupid oaf."
You can't say "an stupid" because the word stupid does not begin with a vowel sound and "an" is only used before words with a vowel at beginning. BUT that rule does not apply with proper names, for example, it would be incorrect to write:
Incorrect: Orrin is an stupid.
Correct: Orrin is stupid.
HOWEVER, "stupid" is derogatory and name-calling when used about a person! Stupid is also a "value judgement", in which one person judges another. It is mere opinion, not fact. So try to pick a different word.
Incorrect: Julie thought that was an stupid book.
Correct: Julie thought that was a stupid book.
Typically, in the English language, there would rarely be a time that it would be correct to write "an stupid". In almost all cases, the wording will be "a stupid" or simply "stupid" (without "a" before it).

How do you master the art of unseen movement?
I am assuming you are referring to Ninja-like skills here, not the Art called "The Unseen Movement." The way to master physical skills is to practice them until they become second nature. Ninjas start out as kids and train for years to be able to sneak around silently.
Start practicing your sneaking and see how quiet you can be if you concentrate. Spend at least an hour every day practicing things like walking without stepping on things, moving your body without touching the things around you, and breathing more quietly. It also helps if you are in good physical condition, so keep up your exercise and eat right!

What was Einstein's way of studying and thinking?
Einstein once said that he thought in a stream of pictures. He used mental imagry to help him think and create new ideas. He liked to play with what he called "thought experiments" where he would imagine all sorts of wild and unusual ideas. The idea of relativity came to him after he imagined what it would be like to ride on a beam of light. Einstein also set aside time every day to think. His brain was his greatest asset, and he used it as if he were going into a job, taking time out to do nothing but imagine and wonder and try to come up with new ideas. He also used what he called "hard thinking" and "soft thinking." Hard thinking was when he studied scientific information and worked on learning new facts and new scientific formulae. Soft thinking was when he stopped consciously working on things with his mind and instead did things he enjoyed, like playing the violin or sailing. When his body was relaxed, his mind often worked on the scientific problems subconsiously, and he could come up with very creative ideas that way. You can use Einstein's techniques yourself. First, study your schoolwork as hard as you can. Then, take an hour or so to do something you enjoy, and let your mind work on the problems while your body does something else. You can also use "thought experiments" to dream up new ideas for yourself.
