The secret room is Jabba's Bounty Hunter missions, to unlock it, purchase all the bounty hunter characters, and play as each in a level at least once, then the door will open, each mission gives you one gold brick!

Lego city is a fun way of earning cash and basically an extra reward for completeing a certain amount of gold bricks. And you just destoy things and play around till you reach a certain amount of studs

The best character in Lego Batman is Batman, but Nightwing is also pretty good. For the bad guys though, Clayface, Bane and Penguin are pretty good. Te Joker is useless! I'd get them anyway though, just for the fun of it.

I don't have a link to the instruction book for Amazing Allysen, but if you use a pen to depress the recessed reset button on her upper back she will reset . Also -- remember that Allysen has two sets of batteries- AA's and AAA's. The AAA's are hidden under a littel set of doors beneath the AA's. When replacing her batteries be sure to replace those too or she may not turn on or work.
