How do frilled lizard breathe?
Reptiles breathe air through their nostrils and their mouths into their lungs. They don't have gills and if they swim underwater they have to come to the surface to breathe.
(Amphibians ( frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, and caecilians) are not reptiles. Most amphibians can accept oxygen from water or air through their skin. They can also pump air into their primitive lungs using their mouth or throat to force it down.)

What do you do when you find a lizard egg?
It depends on what kind of dragon egg you're looking for really, and no, they cannot just be found simply everywhere. Its sort of like in Eragon by Christopher Paolini...You kinda have to be chosen, if that makes sense.
songjongsuk: haha that is if they actually exist. Dragons are just creatures which are made up by people smart enough to combine the body of a snake, the feathers and the talons of an eagle, and the breath of......well, fire. The point is, if they really exist, as far as I know, no one knows where. But i probably agree with the earlier answer-if such magical creatures exist, you have to be CHOSEN. You can`t expect a majestic and powerful creature to just be found and cracked open.

What happens when you kill a Gila monster?
One of the main reasons gerbils have long tails is to give predators something to grab on to. If a hawk or fox caught a gerbil by the tail, the tail could break off and the gerbil could escape.
Tail breakage is the number one medical concern for gerbils. It happens all the time because their bodies are MADE that way.
If the tail starts to die even more, or it smells bad and has green pus, or the gerbil acts weird, you need to take him to the vet.
Most gerbils recover from this with no problems. Your biggest worry would be infections. I saw this on yahoo answers.

Answer
Incorrect. There are two poisonous lizard species in the World: Gila Monster, and the Mexican Horned Lizard.
The real answer
no there are two the Mexican beaded lizard and the Gila monster that's the right answer
That is actually incorrect as well.
There are 3 lizards that contain posion glands. The Gila Monster, the Mexican Bearded Lizard, and the Komodo Dragon.
Originally the Komodo Dragon was thought to kill its prey using The bacteria in their mouths. But just this year we were able to dissect and identify that they do indeed have poison glands in which they use to kill.
incorrect again the komodo dragon is not poisonous on the Gila monster and something else i forgot lol
There are about 1500 species of lizard that have poison glans. The komodo was thefirst to be identified, except for the commonly know and mentioned two. After that about 1500 species have been confirmed to have poison glans. they were evolved a long time ago and many species lack a means of utilizing the poison and usually the poison is very weak. snakes took a step forward on the lizards with their fangs.

Are red and brown lizards are poisonous?
Yes and no.
Green iguana lizards do have venom-secreting glands on both their upper and lower jaws. Like even on of some monitor lizards (the best known being the Komodo Dragon), their venom reduces blood pressure and prevents blood coagulation, resulting in shock to the victim. However, because if the green iguana's size and the inefficient method of delivery of this venom, it poses no threat to humans or animals larger than itself. Used purely for the purpose of subduing small prey, the toxins in a green iguana's bite will do little more than cause throbbing at the bite site in a human.
