Why did Nazi Germany use Wagner's music as propaganda and not Beethoven's or Bach's?

Wagner was Hitler's favourite composer; most of his music was very teutonic and powerful, therefore accepted by the Nazi party and their efforts during the war; it was very well suited for use in public announcements and propoganda films especially. Hitler also related to him, as Wagner published an anti-semetic book, which further strengthened Hitler's bond with Wagner.

Already in Wagner's lifetime there was an Old Germaniccult surrounding him and his music. Many of his operas deal with Germanic legends.

J S Bach was known above all as a religious composer, so one can see why the Nazis disapproved of his music.

Beethoven on the other hand was actually approved by the Nazis; like Wagner, he did compose some teutonic pieces such as the infamous 9th Symphony.
