The first thing that Steve Jobs invented was the first model of the apple computer, Called the Apple I.

The Macintosh project started in the late 1970s with Jef Raskin, an Apple employee, who envisioned an easy-to-use, low-cost computer for the average consumer. He wanted to name the computer after his favorite type of apple, the McIntosh, but the name had to be changed for legal reasons.

The most simple one is the iPod Shuffle. It is very small and has no screen. You load songs onto it using a computer. Those songs are then played in a random order.

There is the iPod Nano. It is also small but has a touchscreen. You can control what songs are played on it.

There is also the iPod Classic which has a screen but is has a scrollwheel to navigate through songs.

The last iPod is the iPod Touch. It is a complete touchscreen. It will play music but is also has access to the App Store which has millions of applications on it. It can download any of these applications and run them. They can be games or productivity tools.

One of the most popular Apple products is the iPhone. It is a very advanced smartphone with much of the same features as the iPod Touch. It is completely touchscreen. It has an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash. It is very powerful and responsive. It also has access to the same App Store that the iPod Touch has access to.

Apple's most recent product is the iPad. It is a touchscreen tablet that is 3-4 times the size of the iPhone. It has the same operating system as the iPhone and the same access to the App Store. It is very portable yet very functional.

Apple's least known product is the Apple TV. It is a little box about the size of a Mac Mini that comes with a remote. It hooks up to your TV and provides you with many options to stream TV shows, movies, photos and more from many sources. These sources can be Netflix or Hulu, but they can also be other Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Also consider the lifespan of an average windows computer being 2-3 years; whereas, the Mac is typically 8-9 years. Imagine buying that windows experience 3 times in the amount of time owning one mac.


However, the price tag of an initial Windows computer purchase is much less, but it wont stay that way for long, the trials they provide expire after 60 days, the restore CD's they don't provide you with (with the exception of some higher end computers...the ones that cost as much or more than the macs) will need to be purchased or made in case the Antivirus (you also HAVE to buy) or the second rate hardware that comes with a cheap price tag fails you....
