How do you do your makeup to make it look like pinocchio's?

This is for a play, right?

I would build a latex mask and wig with a telescoping assembly for the nose. You could make the nose with a long balloon and a one-way valve, with a little hose going down so the actor can get the end of the hose in his mouth and give a little puff of air to make his nose grow. With practice, he can get the valve to let air out of the nose so it'll shrink when he tells the truth.

In the makeup room before a performance, the actor applies a waterproof makeup to his face because he's going to sweat under the mask, and he needs to have makeup on when he removes the mask to become a normal little boy at the end. Then he'll put the mask on his head.

Where can you buy bare mineral make up in Greensboro NC?

There are lots of web based sources for quality mineral makeup but the only company I know of that is based in the Greensboro area is Inner Beauty Minerals LLC. You can learn more about them on their website at www.innerbeautymineral.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/InnerBeautyMinerals

How do you apply bare minerals?

To apply Bare Minerals loose powder foundation, first flip your foundation jar upside down. Flip it back right side up and tap the jar firmly a few times. This ensures that there will be powder in the sifter, but not so much that it's hard to work with.

Using the foundation brush you received in your kit or any fluffy buffer brush, dip it lightly into the powder sitting on top of the sifter. Using the empty lid, swirl the powder around. This pushes it into the brush without caking the brush with powder. This will ensure you get even coverage when you apply it.

After you have buffed the powder into your brush, tap off the excess on the side of the lid. A sprinkle of powder should fall loose from your brush. You want to start with a light coat, so this step is important.

Once your brush is completely prepared, start wherever you like on your face. Use your brush in gentle swirling motions across your skin. I usually begin with my cheeks, then move on to my forehead, then my temples, then my chin when applying powder foundation, but the order is really up to you. Be sure to buff it in really well. The powder will slide over your face a bit, so buffing ensures that it glides over any lines or wrinkles and covers your face evenly. Always use a gentle hand. Your brush shouldn't feel like a toothbrush against your face. It should feel like a plush feather.

At this point, your foundation is finished. If you have powder blush, using a smaller powder brush repeat the preparation that includes loading your brush, swirling the powder in the cap and tapping off the excess.

Smile and apply your blush to the apples of your cheeks. This means the center, not necessarily the highest point.

If you are using a bronzing powder, load your brush again using the steps above and, preferably with an angled contour brush, but your blush brush works as well, suck in your cheeks and apply the powder very, very lightly in the hollows. Buff it out well. No harsh lines should be visible--only a faint shadow.

Apply the powder lightly to your temples and along your hairline if it strikes your fancy. Bronzing powder can also be used under the chin to hide any roundness there. Try keeping in mind places where the sun naturally hits your skin and tans you.

If you have a highlight with your Bare Minerals kit, use this on the tops of your cheek bones and down the bridge of your nose. Avoid using it on your forehead or chin if you have shiny or oily skin.

To keep everything in place, you should always use a translucent powder to seal it all. This will set all of your makeup and make it last all day. Some powders are iridescent and give off a glowing finish. Some are completely white to achieve the same effect. Whatever your finishing powder, apply it just as you would foundation all over your skin and you're finished!

Be sure to apply the translucent powder nearly last. If you wear any extra products, put them on before your finishing powder. The only product that goes on after finishing powder is mascara. The powder can stick to your lashes and when they are coated in mascara, it makes them look even longer.

I hope this has helped you. Good luck with your all natural makeup routine. =]

How is sticker eyeshadow made?

They're printed, so I'm going to go into "printer" mode and theorize on how to do this.

They first need to design the sticker, using a computer. After the sticker design is approved, they lay out a group of stickers and make flexography plates for them.

Flexography is a process using rubber plates. I like to think of a flexo press as a rubber stamping machine because the plates look very much like the business end of a rubber stamp. It's good for printing with really thick products like scratch-and-sniff medium and lottery-ticket latex.

Next, they have to make the eyeshadow into something you can print with by adding water to make a paste.

The first thing they have to print on the paper (which is called a "web") is an adhesive, to give the makeup something to stick to. It would be a very mild one, like the glue on a sticky note. The glue is printed "edge to edge" so the slipsheet covering the makeup will have something to stick to. They then print all the makeup.

The press then puts the slipsheet over the web. They run it through a pair of rollers, called "calendering rolls," to bond the slipsheet to the web and to make the makeup stick to the glue.

Finally, they run the web through a diecutter to cut the stickers to shape. And finally they're packaged and shipped.

This would work and it's how I would do it, but it might not be how they do it there.

What does geilded donkeymean?

You mean gelded. This means a male that has been castrated. Most donkeys, like horse, are castrated in their first autumn or the following spring. Only if you want some "masculinity" in your animal do you wait until he is about to reach puberty. Alternatively, you ask the vet to cut the animal "proud" which means to leave in the epididimes.

Best make up for blondes?

The best make-up for blondes is natural, just like with any other hair colour.

Try starting with some foundation to match your tone, skin type and the look you are aiming at;

so, powder minerals for oily skin or a natural matte finish, liquids for dry skin or a baby soft sheen, and if you're lucky enough to have pretty perfect skin then you can choose whichever... or none! (Or maybe some tinted moisturiser)

Next you need to get the blush or bronzing right. Seeing as natural make-up tends to look best, go with what your skin naturally does in the sun. If you burn choose a pretty peachy pink, and if you tan, then choose a light golden shimmer. Dust either one where your face catches the light, so over your cheekbones, temples and forehead.

Finish off with some translucent powder to set and matte the look, and if you want to add some shimmer, try a highlighter over your cheekbones.

Now for the eyes. As you are blonde, it's best to stay away from really dark colours, like blacks, for everyday looks. Experiment with light browns, peaches, bronzes, golds (these can look particularly nice) soft dove greys and skin coloured shimmers. Dust these lightly over your eyelids, and add definition by working a slightly darker shade in to the crease in your eyelid, then highlight just below the brow and on the inside of your eyes nearest the bridge of your nose to open the eyes up.

If you would like to add eyeliner, then choose a medium to dark grey, or dark brown, depending on your eyeshadow, and feather a little along the top and not very much on the bottom.

Always finish the look with mascara in dark brown or black.

For lips you should take into account how much you have done to the eyes. A natural daytime look should focus either on the eyes or lips, not both.

So, if you have focused on the eyes, then keep it simple with a slick of Vaseline, or subtle gloss.

If you choose to emphasise your lips, then start with a lipliner, and gently feather, blending as you go. Next, use the matching lipstick to fill out the look, and make sure everything is blended in. Dab a little gloss for a shiny shimmery look, or leave it for matte.

Alternatively, you could pick out a vibrant gloss colour and use that.

Hope this is helpful
