I had to slowly reduce my dose over several months to minimize withdrawel symptoms. well all i can say is that it was the hardest thing i have had to overcome IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I wasnt addicted to them BUT MY BODY WAS its impossible to explain the pain and suffering i went through to get myself off of those EVIL OPIATES. I felt like the devil was inside me trying its hardest to break out. every muscle, bone, and nerve in my body hurt and was screaming at me wanting the drug. what it did was take over my natural pain killing endorphins. so when i stopped taking the drug my endorphin level was near zero causing me to feel like i was dying. ive talked to women who have gone thru the same thing say its worse than child birth because of the legnth of the pain. now that I'm off opiate pain killers i smoke medical marijuana and it helps alot with no withdrawel.
