Where is Mary queen of scotts and elizabeth I buried?

Mary Queen of Scots & Queen Elizabeth 1st are ironically buried close together in Westminster Abbey, London. MQS was originally buried in Peterborough Cathedral. I say ironically because they never met in life but are now 'constantly together in death'. Both of these monarchs were around 6 feet tall which was quite tall for a man never mind a woman in those days.

Having said all that I have become convinced that the story that has been around since the mid-1870s that Queen Elizabeth 1st was NOT the daughter of King Henry 8th & Anne Boleyn is actually true after the research I have done over the last 3 months for our England coach tours newsletter. Whether she was a man as actually is claimed (The Bisley Boy.) remains to be seen but of course if she wasn't the daughter of KH8 & Anne Boleyn then statistically there is a 50% chance she was a guy. Many advocates of the theory that QE1 was a man suggest that 'her' character was far too 'tough' to be a woman in those days which is nonsense. The most dangerous person in Ireland at the time was a female adversary of QE1, 'Grace O'malley' the pirate queen. This anti feminism misses the point entirely. There are far too many contradictions, coincidences & blatant untruths related to the early life of Lady Elizabeth (As she was then.) to suggest that the person who died in 1603 as the monarch Queen Elizabeth (1st) was the baby who was born to King Henry 8th & Anne Boleyn.

So whose remains (if any) are in the QE1 tomb in Westminster Abbey remain to be seen.

Was david riccio king James 1 father and lover Mary Queen of scotts?

No, these would be among the many scurrilous rumors generated by Mary's political enemies. Never was any credence given to the idea that Riccio was James VI/I's father, as there were never any challenges to his legitimacy. Likewise, the attempt to characterize Riccio as Mary's lover was a smear campaign.

What did Mary queen of Scots do in France?

Her mother, Marie de Guise ( Mary of Guise) was French. she ( mother) died early in her reign, and for some odd reason Mary Stuart was not permitted to attend her mother"s funeral. Mary, Queen of Scots herself expressed the wish for a (French Burial) which did not occur. Her remains are under an elaborate effigy in Westminster Abbey- I am speaking of Mary, Queen of Scots, not her Mother, who was presumably buried in France.
