The Caliber needs to be spunthat's why it has 2 holes on the face of it . So as it is being turned use a c clap to helping to collapse the caliber so it will fit the new brakes.
i am not a mechanic but i did figure it out. make sure that you keep an eye on the brake fluid level at all time.
Usually in the ign lock cylinder if you have the VATs type key with the resistor in the key. The wires attached to the key lock cylinder often break. If you have the "pass key" type without the little resistor chip then it is different. But it also usually involves removing the key lock cylinder.

Try Napa, or just go to a Mazda dealers part dept. They come in both spin on and cartride. And if i remember correctly it is 4.5 qts.
AnswerIt is a cartridge. Make sure you get the kit, because you will need the O-rings, also. FYI, you need to get a "special" wrench to remove the housing in order to replace the oil filter. These parts can all be purchased at a Mazda dealer's parts department or online. AnswerI love my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3 liter, but we can't find oil filters ANYWHERE!!! The guy at Autozone said they didn't even have access to order one. Normally not a big deal, but my husband has never and will never take a vehicle to someone else to change the oil. AnswerAutozone does carry oil filters for Mazda 3's. You can find them here:http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsShelf.jsp?displayName=Oil+Filter¤tPage=1&categoryDisplayName=Routine+Maintenance&navValue=14200000&itemId=prod61165&parentId=cat30056&_requestid=134903
if you are keeping the stock stereo you have to get a rca converter(converts speaker wires to rca) and hook them up to the rear speakers. then run rca's to the amp, then run your power wire, ground, then the remote wire you will have to tap into the fuse box and find the radio fuse that turns off with your key, once you find that just tap into it and run the wire back to the amp.

The ECT sensor is usually the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. Most modern cars have such a sensor to advise the ECM/PCM about the operating temperature of the engine. Ford also uses a Cylinder Head Temperature sensor to detect overheating condition in the case of lost coolant..... The ETC, via the PCM, also controls the cold-start quantity of fuel required (given a specific temperature);.. in other words, it acts like a choke operation in cold weather!... I f malfubctioning, can cause prolonged cranking before engine start in cold weather.
Yes, just had exactly the same problem, I tightened oil cap correctly and cleaned the oil thst has splattered around the engine compartment and it has solved the odour of oil / fumes.

Start with checking the fuse. The owners manual can help you with that.
The amount of oil that goes into a Mazda 3 2.3 liter engine is 4.5 quarts. This would equal 4.3 liters.
its recommended but not required, I as a good practice because I figure if you just spent money on new tire you don't want them to wear faster than they should.
