yes, it is very normal. yes, it is very normal. yes, it is very normal.

Is it normal to be two weeks late on your period?

It depends on your age and many other factors, stress, illness and some medications can all delay your period. If there is a chance that you could be pregnant, take a pregnancy test. If your period doesn't come this month, it is a missed period. If the next month it is late, missing or unusual in any way, it is important to go and see your doctor, just to get checked out sooner rather than later.

I am pregnant and have blood like discharge. is it normal?

Many women do, but here's the thing, are you sure it's old blood (very dark in color - almost brown even)? Even at that, depending on your stage of pregnancy, it could be a symptom of something else. You need to make sure that an ectopic pregnancy has been ruled out. You also should make sure that a molar pregnancy has been ruled out (although a molar pregnancy is extremely rare). There are also other problems that could be occurring that is not readily brought to your attention as a result of this old bloody discharge. Not only that, but the discharge of blood, old or new, can be an indication of something severe, even though it is usually perfectly normal. In any case, you should call over to the doctor's office and speak to the nurse on call when you are able to at the very least. Tell her what is going on and she will recommend whether you should come in for an exam or put you completely at ease.

Should you wear a pad when you are not on your period?

Yes, you can wear a pantiliner when not on your period - this is why they were designed, to increase sales by encouraging women to wear products every day.

There is no reason to use pantiliners daily and it can actually be unhygienic because they prevent air-flow to genitals so increase risk of vaginal infections, particularly if using commercial brands which can also contain harmful ingredients.

If you feel you absolutely must wear pantiliners avoid wearing them on days when discharge is lighter or when just laying around the house, change every 4-6 hours, and ideally use cloth brands which allow air-flow and don't contain harmful substances.

Does blood sugar affect menstrual cycle?

Yes! At least for me. I'm 29 and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 12. I have always been thin and healthy otherwise. (5'4" and 115lbs now). Bloodsugar can affect a lot of other things as well. You need your body in perfect harmony. Talk to a Doctor and good luck! I'm a healthy diabetic Mom with 2 perfect kiddo's! :)

What does it mean if i haven't had a period for 6 plus months but am still a virgin?

Periods take a while to settle down into their own rhythm, it is common for women new to getting periods to have them be irregular for a while.

Also, if you are anorexic or have lost a lot of weight recently this can stop a period and this is bad for you.

Another possible scenario is, if you have had sexual activity some semen could have entered the vagina without needing actual vaginal intercourse

What causes you to miss four periods?

I have had the same problem and thought I was pregnant, the best but most annoying answer I suppose is to see a doctor and keep seeing the doctor until you are happy. I don't know how many times I have been to a doctor and still no change to my cycle. Finally the best thing for me was a healthy diet and regular routines... this may not apply to all women but has helped me slightly as I still go 3 months without a period. Hope this helps in some way :D

What can you not eat during your period?

I heard that we should stay clear of citrus while menstruating. The acid from orange juice, lemons, etc can aggravate menstrual cramps. I think it's true.i think, you cant eat anything pickled, because the vinegar well do something bad to your body when on your period.

i agree with the part that you should not eat anything pickled, but every morning when i have my cramps, i always drink orange juice, and i can understand why people may think it will set off your cramps, but maybe it doesnt for some people. Id advise people not too eat chocolate or any other sugary foods, this includes banananas. Nobody can quite understand why you shouldn't eat banananas but they do contain sugar so that might be why. Id advise to drink alot off water and eat mainly fruit and vegatables, also try and stay away from dairy products as some people say that makes them worse, but for others it may not be..

You can eat anything you want. Some get a upset stomach and diarrhea or constipated so they have to adjust to that. Apart form that there are no restrictions.

How to stop period for one day?

It is not possible to stop your periods. If you want to stop your periods soon or by a few days I would suggest on eating a lot of almonds and eating dates or fruits. If you eat healthy then Im sure that all the impure blood will be gone soon because your system would be healthy :)

What if your period was 2-3 weeks later had a period for a week after that but it was bad pain and your stomac hurts real bad and im just tired hips back hurts as well and bein stayin very hot?

Well, first of all you should call your doctor.

You don't mention how old you are, if you're young, you may have had a miscarriage (if your hips hurt, your joints could have been loosening up already - I forget what that's called). If your old, you might be starting menopause (you say your very hot).

Or, maybe you just had a crappy period. But, really, call your doc they should check you out.

How do you feel on your first period?

wierd.... well i mean you dont realy feel anything, if u do just ask your teacher to go to the bathroom, then get ur emergency kit if you have one then go to the bathroom, and look, and if you see blood then change in to a pad or tampon (u should use a pad first and get used to that b4 u use a tampon) then just go back to class

What is the normal duration of menses?

That depends on the woman. Some women have three-day periods, some five-day and some seven and some have other durations. There's no one set duration. *another answer* It also depends on how long you've had your periods. I got mine when I had just turned 12, and they were really irregular and lasted for different amounts of time. Im fifteen now and I get my periods every four weeks and they last for about 5 days. But when you only just get your periods dont expect them to arrive every 28 days like clockwork :)

Should a period go for 7 days?

I would recomment starting birth control - it forces your cycle to be regular (every 28 days). You should go see your ob/gyn to make sure there isn't a more serious problem.

Can your period be slimey?

It is perfectly natural for a woman to pass small blood clots under the size of a quarter. It is also normal for your menstruation to be mixed with mucus at times, a snotty like discharge. Your body produces a discharge which helps to keep you moist and also acts a lot like mucus in our noses to 'clean' us out. This same discharge happens when you have your period and mixes with your blood. That's just part of your natural cycle. I can be gross and unsettling, but it's doing it's job.

What are the smallest tampons?

Yep... tampons come in different sizes depending on how heavy or or light your flow is. So if you were looking for small tampons you should get the light flow tampons because they are smaller. Tampons for light flow might also be called 'juniors.'
