What does it mean if you have bad smelling brown discharge for over a week after your period ends?
Brown discharge is usually old blood. It is best to have your doctor check you out because women are so prone to vaginal infections. If it is an infection there are antibiotics your doctor can give you to clear it up.
Exercise, good diet and lots of water help with these problems. Your discharge should be odor-free on a normal basis, but during a period this can happen and also some spices and foods (example: asparagus) or taking Vitamin B can change the odor of your discharge.
See an ob-gyn. This is my question. I went to the doctor today and they thought that I had a kidney infection. I had all of the symptoms of a kidney infection but near my ovaries I was feeling a dull pain. Well, my test for the kidney infection was negative. My kidneys were fine. So they did a pelvic test, kind of like a pap smear. The test came out to be bacterial vaginosis. Basically it is where the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina is interupted and replaced by an overgrowth of a certain bacteria. You see we naturally have good and bad bacteria in us. Bacterial vaginosis is not an STD. It is the most common vaginal infection in women of childbearing age. Douching, having an IUD or a new sex partner or multiple sex partners can cause you to get BV. Mine was from douching. I am on a medicine and should be better in 5 days. Also many women may think that they have a yeast infection but it might be an BV infection. I had what I thought was a yeast infection 2 weeks ago and it was actually a BV infection. I want to thank everyone out there who read my question and a special thank you to the person that wrote in and told me to see my ob-gyn. ==Answer Update== This is my question. I started to have those dull pains again right near my ovaries. So I went to the doctor again. It turned out that I have IBS. I told my doctor that I thought that IBS was just fake and was a way for medical companies to make money. Turns out that I was wrong and that IBS is real. There is no cure for it. I have been taking 3 tbs. of Benefiber a day with water. It does not taste like anything at all. I have been on this for 3 weeks now and no pain! I also had a blockage which is probably where the pain came from. I hope that this info helps out anyone.
Maybe he's thinking the same thing. Have you called in two days? Relationship is a two way street, otherwise it's not worth it.Either take action or don't dwell on it. I could really get deep into this, but I don't have time right now. I would say your worrying over nothing. He will call. Let him call you ok. I think in the next three days he will call. If not, call him ONLY once.

What does it mean when a womans period is dark brown on the Mirena?
The color of uterine bleeding on Mirena has no clinical signficance. It means nothing.
Yes, you can get pregnant. If you are having a period it mean your body is ovulation (releasing eggs), and can get pregnant. However the problem with such a long gap in cycles is it makes it harder to pinpoint ovulation. You can buy ovulation kits at any big store, Wlamart, Target, Rite-aid, CVS, and use it to help. Or you can track your cervix position and cervical mucus at home daily, yourself. It can be done.

Masterbation during menstruation is a personal choice and can vary from person to person. Some may find it relieving due to the release of endorphins, which can alleviate cramps and improve mood. Others may prefer to avoid it due to discomfort or personal beliefs. Ultimately, it's important for each individual to listen to their body and make decisions that feel right for them.

Additionally, lifestyle factors such as stress, diet, and exercise can influence the severity of cramps. What does it mean normal sized retroverted uterus with thin endometrium?
A normal-sized retroverted uterus refers to a uterus that is tilted backward rather than forward, which is a common anatomical variation and typically does not indicate any health problems. A thin endometrium means that the lining of the uterus is thinner than average, which can occur during certain phases of the menstrual cycle or in response to hormonal changes. While a thin endometrium can be normal, it may also affect fertility or menstrual health in some cases. It's important to consult with a healthcare provider for a complete assessment and interpretation based on individual health circumstances.
What can you drink or eat to make your menstrual flow heavy?
Certain foods and drinks may influence menstrual flow, including those rich in phytoestrogens like soy products, flaxseeds, and sesame seeds. Additionally, consuming foods high in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits and bell peppers, may help increase blood flow. Hydration is also essential; drinking plenty of water can support overall circulation. However, individual responses can vary, so it's important to listen to your body and consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
Why are you bleeding for two months while you are on the two month injection?
Bleeding for two months while on a two-month injection, such as a hormonal contraceptive, can occur due to several factors. It may be a side effect of the hormone in the injection, especially if your body is still adjusting to it. Additionally, irregular bleeding can happen if the injection is not effectively suppressing ovulation or if there are underlying health issues. It's important to consult a healthcare provider to discuss your symptoms and determine the best course of action.
Does menstruation lessen the effects of novocaine?
There is no substantial scientific evidence to suggest that menstruation significantly lessens the effects of novocaine, a local anesthetic. Hormonal fluctuations during the menstrual cycle may affect pain perception and sensitivity, but they do not typically alter the pharmacological effectiveness of novocaine itself. Individual responses to anesthetics can vary due to various factors, including anxiety and overall health, rather than menstruation alone. Always consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
