Microsoft Outlook uses for email communication. For more than one decade, it's one of the primary choices of billions of users and many organizations. Create a Distribution List

1. Select New Contact Group from the Home Tab.

2. Enter the Name of the Distribution List in the Name Field.

3. On the Contact Group Tab, select one of three options (shown below) from the pick list under Add Members.

Options:

· From Outlook Contacts: Adds members to the group from your Contacts.

· From Address Book: Adds members to the group from the Global Address Book.

· From Email Contacts: Adds any individual email address to the list.

Note: If you are copying addresses from an email, selecting either From Outlook Contacts or From Address Book to open the dialog box and paste addresses copied into the Members field..

5. As Outlook checks the names it may display a message that it has found more than one person with a specific name select the correct person and click OK.

7. Outlook may display a message asking if you want to add the number of records to your list, click OK.

8. The Distribution List should now list the added contacts therefore it is time to Save & Close the list.

At this time you can verify that all needed contacts are included or add any contacts not included.

There are two general types of mail systems.

1. Web Mail or other types of web based mail programs such as hotmail, yahoo, etc.

2. Outlook, Outlook Express or other POP3 mail programs such as Outlook, Netscape Mail, and Eudora.

Web Mail stores the messages on the mail server on the internet. When you ask for the mail via your browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape), then you are shown a list of headers including who sent the mail, the subject, the date, and the size. If you ask to see a particular message, then the contents of the message are retrieved from the server and shown to you. If you delete the message, it is deleted from the server. If you simply view the message but leave it alone, then it stays on the server and can be viewed again from any computer connected to the internet. This message stays on the server until you tell it to be deleted.

POP3 mail systems, like Outlook, use the same mail server, but when you ask for the mail, the message is transferred from the server to the computer making the request. When the transfer is completed, the messages are deleted from the server and the only location that the messages exist is on the machine you moved them to by checking your mail with the POP3 mail program.

The advantage of the Web Mail method of viewing your mail is that the messages are stored on a server and can be viewed from any computer with a connection to the internet. This is helpful if you want to check mail from more than one location. Another advantage is that if there are multiple people using the same computer, it is easy to keep each person's mail separate. The disadvantage of the Web Mail system is there is a limit to the number of messages that can be stored on the server. That limit for Chase 3000 is 300 messages. This includes messages in the trash. There is also a time limit to how long you can be connected to the server without activity; this is currently set to 20 minutes. If you take longer than 20 minutes to compose your message, then you may lose your web mail connection to the server. Therefore, if you have not copied the unfinished message to a clipboard, you will have to retype the message.

The advantage of using the POP3 system, then, is that there are no limits to the number of messages or to the time it takes to compose the messages. You have functions and features that may not be available via web mail, such as message management. The disadvantage is that once you have downloaded the mail to your computer, you must have access to that same computer to view the messages since this is the only place they exist. They have been erased from the server at the time of the transfer. If you only have one computer in your life, this is not really an issue.

The disadvantages are as follows:

• SMTP lacks certain types of functions.

• SMTP lacks the security specified in X.400.

• Its simplicity limits its usefulness.

I had this problem and this was very much annoying! Because i had lot of emails in my email account and contacts and my calendar which i can't afford to loose at any cost. I discussed a lot here and there with family, friends and everyone to whom i can ask for HELP!

So Firstly we'll discuss the main problems that one face with an Hotmail Or Outlook Account on a Computer and then we will talk about a Mobile Phone (Windows,Android and iOS), these are;

1) Hotmail Account Hacked Or Blocked / Outlook Account Hacked or blocked.

Lets Discuss them One by One:

1) Hotmail Account Hacked Or Blocked / Outlook Account Hacked or blocked.

Now this are the very serious problem with any email account, If you get to hear from your friends and family that you are sending some weird emails asking for money or anything which you are not sending then in that case your account has been hacked, when you try to login to your account it says that either your user name or password is incorrect because the one who hacked the account has changed the password too, and when you try to login 3-4 times Hotmail Block your Account for the security reasons because Hotmail consider it as an unusual sign in activity. Secondly if you are sending bulk mails like 20-30 emails at a time, Hotmail consider that as suspicious activity and stops all the emails.

with the help of this panel you can fix all the problems only when you are able to login to your Hotmail Account. Now Click on "Rules for sorting new messages" and delete all the rules if you have any. Once they are deleted you will be able to send the emails.

Now Lets talk about receiving the email:

If you are waiting for an email to come and its been so long and still you are waiting and you got the confirmation that the mail has been sent, you should have a look in the spam folder.

If you don't see that mail in the spam folder then go to the setting click on rules and then first check the "Email Forwarding", if they are not forwarded anywhere then go to "Safe and Blocked Senders" remove all the entries in the list. and after that you might receive that email if still not received tell the sender to send it again and this time surely you will receive it.

6) Mailer Daemon Error

This is not a problem basically, this is just an informative mail by the Hotmail Server that the email address of the recipient is not correct. You need to get in touch with the recipient and ask for the email address again, there could be a spelling mistake in the email address. enter the correct email address and the email will go through.

7) Call us overprotective

Even this is not at all a problem, "Call us Overprotective" comes when Hotmail thinks that its been too long you haven't updated the recovery options.
