Did they find a murder weapon in OJ Simpsons case?

A German stiletto knife was found buried outside in a wooded area next to Simpson's Chicago hotel. It was same kind of knife that Simpson had purchased six weeks prior to the murders. The German stiletto was consistant with with the many wounds on Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Some may claim this to be a coincedense, I'm not big on coincidences, there really are very few in real life.

Which crime or criminal have you most followed up on and why Examples include JonBenet OJ Simpson 911 attacks Tylenol tampering Unabomber the Holocaust Jack the Ripper Lindbergh baby Ted Bundy etc?

Myself, I was REALLY into the O.J. Simpson case. It was the first big trial to be televised, and people were hooked. It's all anyone talked about. Our cafeteria was unusally quiet as students watched while eating or resting between classes. The case ended up being stranger than any fiction one could write. Marcia Clark's book was my absolute favorite. Being the head prosecutor, she really had the knowledge, ability, and drive to get the whole truth out there. I read no less than 5 books on this crime.

That being said, the Holocaust is way ahead of the pack. Between the fact that I am of Jewish heritage, the enormity of the whole operation, Anne Frank's ability to give the tragedy a face, the role of fear in people's lives, and how that fear can so easily be manipulated. Sad beyond belief.

Can someone help me write a thesis for the O.J Simpson Trial?

As someone who followed this trial closely, I found a strong correlation between this trial and the trial of Lizzie Bordon. Not just because the defendants were found not guilty, but for the reason for the verdicts. The jury apparently viewed Lizzie as a proper young lady, with peculiarities, but proper, who had no capacity for such a crime; the O.J. jury seemed to believe that a man of his stature would never commit such a crime no matter what miscellaneous evidence the racist authorities dragged into court. In both cases, evidence carried very little weight and social beliefs carried the verdict. I was so struck by this, I wrote a second verse to the Lizzie Bordon rhyme. I wrote it, so feel free to use it:

1892

Lizzie Bordon with an axe

Gave her mother forty whacks

And when she saw what she had done

Gave her father forty one.

1994

O.J. Simpson with a knife

Slashed Nicole and took her life

And when Ron saw what he had done

O.J. two, witness none.

Is there a site where you type something and the computer says it out loud?

There are various websites that can convert text to speech, but most of them cost money and don't do as much as the one I like the best, which is called YAKiToMe! http://www.yakitome.com. YAKiToMe! is not only free, it converts any electronic text to speech in a variety of languages and using an accented voice of your choosing. You control readback speed and pronunciation. Output is wav or mp3, which you can listen to online, download, podcast, and share with friend. It's great for studying, "reading", when you're in a hand's-a and eyes-occupied situation, learning a new language, or relaxing.

What happened to O. J. Simpson?

After retiring from football, O.J. continued his acting career, notably small roles in the Naked Gun comedies (1988, 1991, 1994). After 7 years of marriage, his second wife, Nicole Simpson, filed for divorce in 1992.

He became the prime suspect in the gruesome stabbing murders of Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman in June 1994. Simpson was arrested and tried for the murders, but was acquitted in October 1995 after a sensational trial.

However, in 1997, he was found responsible for the murders in a civil suit filed by the Browns and Goldmans, and ordered to pay millions for their deaths. Only a small portion was ever paid, though a bankruptcy court seized the proceeds from a book dealing with the murders.

In 2001, he was acquitted of an assault charge after a traffic incident.

Simpson eventually wound up in jail after a strange incident in 2007, in which he and three other men took Sports Memorabilia from a Las Vegas hotel room. Simpson claimed he was recovering property stolen from him, but the three others testified against him in his 2008 trial, leading to a 33-year prison sentence for kidnapping and armed robbery. He will be eligible for parole in October, 2017 when he will be 70 years old.
