Gymnastics.

I am a figure skater myself and i have been since i was three! medals are awarded Gold, Silver, and bronze. If a skater places lower than third they will be awarded with a ribbon fourth, fifth , or sixth ribbon. normally competitions only give ribbons up to Sixth place but some competitions award up to eighth place ribbons. after sixth or eighth place (depending on the competition) the skater wont be awarded with anything. With Children that are very small like ages 1-4 other wise known as (canskaters) all get awarded with small trophies no matter what place they came in. They place Skaters by Jugding them on each of their elements basing them on Grace, Strength, Power, Landing, Entrance and so on. If the skater lacks in any of these elements they will have deductions and these will take off some of their points. After the final skater's performance, the judges will add up the points and place the skaters according who got the most points and the least!

Gold medals only contain 1.34% gold (around 6 grams). 92.5% of a gold medal is actually silver while the rest is copper. The silver medal itself is also 92.5% silver, but it has no gold (obviously). Bronze medals are 97% copper, 2.5% zinc and 0.5% tin.

Zimbabwe participated in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. The Zimbabwe team consisted of one athlete competing in alpine skiing. Zambia has never participated in the Winter Olympics.

Canada won 5 medals at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary Alberta: 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Peggy Flemming is alive and well and I think she lives in California. And she looks pretty good if you ask me. She is sometimes involved with Olympic ice skating.

Torches are nowadays mostly used for atmosphere for example during night walks. They can be used only for light or to warm up of course if electricity is not available.

More over 250 athletes around 20 competers per sports without a doubt more than 30 groups. e.g: Basketball/Football/Handball/Waterpolo and our last Rugby which wasn't held in the 2012 London Olympics but will in the 2016 one.
