It is a private, for-profit institution that has its headquarters in Arlington, VA. Its online division is located in Newington, VA. Contrary to propular belief, the school does not have its headquarters in WashDC, though it does maintain a couple of satellite campuses there. How do you know them ? Easy:

1- They will call you and up-sell like crazy to enroll you at the university. --> No real university would do that. It shows how cheap they are.

2- They will provide you with a scholarship based on your previous experience. 90% scholarships for allll. Yes for just USD 1699 you can get an MBA. --> No one would give you a free ride in this life.

3- They will convince you that the Degree will be stamped by the US department of state and your countries' embassy in the US.

4- They are recognized by the IAO (International Accreditation Organisation) and/or other Association of Distant Learning bla bla bla, fake names that they have created. ---> Any crappy training center can get this accreditation by paying $2000/Year to IAO. You can verify that yourself. The university claims accreditation from an unrecognized accrediting organisation, or downplays the importance of accreditation. Be careful

5- You can finish your MBA degree in one week or probably couple of days. --> You can't be serious !!

6- Check their online presence (social media); it is often weak and lacking audience.

7- Whenever you check their website, a chat box pops into your face. You are always chatting with the same names, all the universities. Go look at the online profile of those names. They don't even exist. ---> Go verify it yourself.

8- One person will call you a couple of times using different names. You will recognize it. Same voice. ---> Go verify it yourself.

9- If you have a university degree from those universities you won't be able to pursue your studies using that degree because no university recognizes them. I.e. If you apply for a PhD to one of the real universities in the US or UK they won't accept your MBA gotten from those Fake universities. They only accept Degree provided by universities that are recognized by NARIC (National Agency responsible for providing information, advice and expert opinion on qualifications worldwide) and CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation) in the US. ---> Here is an easy task to do: Data base of accredited universities in the USA:http://www.chea.org/search/

10- The university has no physical address at all and can only be contacted by email or fax

Sadly, employers usually do not pay much attention to the accreditation status of a school. Lorenz is an accredited online school and generally, employers prefer graduates from accredited high schools. However, in many cases, there are schools with absolutely no accreditation and employers easily accept their academic credentials. For example, academic credentials from European schools are actually not accredited in the United States. Similarly, other schools also accept accredited high school diplomas.

Not all of these schools are accredited by regional accreditation organizations, this does not mean that they will not recognized.
