If he were to be on the suboxone ...they will tell you that if for any reasn he were to end up in an accident where they would need to prescribe pain medication,they need to know that he takes suboxone as they would have to use more painkillers to over throw the suboxone. I think it's a great medication and I recommend it to anyone who is struggling w/ this type of addiction . If he truly loves his family ...he will take that step .

Here's the deal you can walk into rehab and be detoxed but you can also walk in and say look I don't think I'll stay clean when I leave ...that is where this drug would come into play.
