Is john titor real?

John Titor's story remains internally consistent and "undebunked" despite many efforts to prove it false. The key fact to remember is that multiverse theory is real, according to Titor, a point of view that is becoming increasingly common among cosmologists and other scientists today. It explains why John told us we could change our world but probably wouldn't, but we surprised him and did. Therefore the MAJOR things he described like how the laws of physics could be used to construct a time travel device using twin microsingularities, this wouldn't be expected to change from one universe to another. MINOR things however especially those easily manipulatable by man could be expected to change, so when Bush & Cheney discovered their plans revealed by Titor they modified them so as to not appear so blatantly fascistic and our timeline was not plunged into civil war after all. This doesn't mean we are free and clear from the threat or that global nuclear war won't happen in 2015, it just means exactly what Titor said -- it is possible to change our timeline if we want to badly enough, we really do have free will after all.

As politically relevant and highly charged as Titor's message to us was, it is reasonable to expect people who would feel threatened by Titor's story to try to find a way to "debunk" and thereby dismiss it from the public consciousness. But if you notice, the story still stands strong and remains internally consistent and the "debunkers" almost always trace to rightwingers who still support torture and other atrocities that they would have our government turn into if they could. As Titor described happening in his timeline, but which we have apparently dodged thanks to him. Consequently you can expect to still encounter a variety of self-styled "debunkers" who like to make shallow assertions without any logic or reasoning behind them like the one below, designed solely to maintain their own denial mechanisms and hopefully deflect attention from the important information Titor provided to us.

The John Titor story seems to have been an elaborate internet hoax that began in 2000. Titor, a self-proclaimed time-traveler, made several predictions that did not come to fruition. Likewise, several of his assertions about his past, and his technology appear to be contradictory.

While much of what the Titor character claimed is fascinating, and could initiate an entertaining conversation, the likelihood of his claims is approximately zero. It is improbable that he actually exists.

What are the paradoxes of Zeno?

They have to do with the nature of infinity. The most well known is the Runner's. If a runner thinks that a race is about going to the midpoint of the race and then the midpoint after that, he'll never finish. He'll complete 50%, then 75%, but will never reach the finish line. He can only get infinitely close.

What are cultural paradoxes?

A paradox is a statement or proposition that has sound reasoning but leads to a conclusion that is senseless, illogical, and self-contradictory. An example of a cultural paradox is how clean the people of India are in their personal hygiene and appearance, but dump their trash right outside their door in the street. Another cultural paradox example is how independent the American population is in their daily lives, but how closely they identify with clubs and organizations they belong to.

What is paradoxical hyperactivity?

Paradoxical hyperactivity (PH) is a known complication of sedation in children, especially with barbiturates such as pentobarbital and phenobarbital. The accompanying inconsolable irritability and agitation, similar to behaviors reported in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), is uncomfortable for the child and anxiety-provoking for parents and health-care workers.

The Arrow Paradox?

What you may be referring to is the Archer's paradox. This is when an arrow is loosed from a stave that doesn't have a cutout to hold the arrow (a.k.a arrow shelf).

The arrow is pushed away from the stave and thus creates what's known as the Archer's paradox, where you have to compensate for the sideways off-shoot created by this effect.

What is the zenos paradox?

when a racer runs a race,he first has to cross half that distance, then half of that distance, and so on. so the racer must first cross 1/2 the distance, then 1/4 the distance, then 1/16 the distance, then 1/32 the distance, and so on. and there is a theory in place that says you cant cross a infinite number of points in a finite amount of time, so the racer can never finish the race because motion is impossible.

What are examples of antithesis?

Antithesis is one of the most common rhetorical devices and deliberately contrasts two opposing ideas in consecutive phrases or sentences. It produces balance and emphasis and both help make a point memorable.

I.e. it says 'not X... but Y' or 'X instead of y.'

For example:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character" -- Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Americans want to see results instead of rhetoric . . . solutions instead of sound bites, and hard work instead of horse trading" - Alcee Hastings
