How do you keep spaghetti sauce from sticking on bottom of pan?
The better quality pot will perform better as the bottom will expand heat more evenly. Along with a better quality pot or pan, make sure you preheat your pot or pan and use enough oil to cover the bottom. When making home made sauce I usually start early in the morning and allow my pot to warm on a low heat with enough oil to cover the bottom to coat and to preheat the pot. Once the pot is preheated and heated evenly I slowly start to add my sauce to cook. If you don't turn your burner up too high, stir often (every 30 to 45 minutes) and use my method above you will see tremendous improved results.

Tasty Spatini is distributed by Lawry's/UNILEVER Brands, which includes Lipton. The product was discontinued due to diminishing demand and financial performance of the brand. In a letter from Lawry's customer service department in August 2007: "As you have suspected, the product you have contacted us about has been discontinued. We are sorry that we do not have any remaining stock. Our company's goal is to provide consumers with a variety of products to meet their needs and preferences. As you know, marketing is a complex function, and many business factors are taken into consideration before discontinuing a product. Before a product becomes available at the retail level, much time and expense is involved in perfecting the formulation, consumers focus testing, and marketing support. It truly saddens us when we must discontinue a product. However, consumer demand is a major factor. When the level of demand is insufficient to ensure that consumers receive high quality products at an affordable price, the product may be discontinued. Again, we apologize that this product is no longer available and have forwarded your interest in it to the appropriate staff for consideration in future product development. Thanks for your interest! How do you read expiration date on de cecco pasta box?
There is no expiration for dried pasta, as it lasts for years without becoming harmful to eat. De Cecco suggests, however, that you consume their pasta before 18 months (or at a maximum 3 years) for best flavor. The stamp on the package tells you when it was manufactured. The first three digits record the day (counting from the first of the year), while the fourth tells you the year. For example: "0369 L10 14:34 F" means it was packed on the 36th day of 2009. The rest you can ignore--it tells you the time and place of manufacture.
