What does the phrase 'you are what you think' mean?
it means you are what you think and belive. if you feel that God is omnipresent the he is if you don't you don't. but basically it means it is what you think, what you feel and believe.
You should probably find another church, esp. if the pastor is just doing his own thing and not paying attention to what's going on.
I have personally seen this happen several times. If it is a Bible church then the pastor, by such behavior is disqualified to be pastor. However, some are so proud and stubborn they may cling to power and also claim legal authority to do so. It depends how the church is constituted and what provisions, if any are made for this type of situation, specifically relating to the position of the pastor.
Even if there is legal authority in a constitution it still may be better to walk away since we are 'called to peace'. If a pastor is that proud and stubborn (without knowing the situation) then even if there is legal authority it may still be better to 'go'. The exception here is what is best for the name of Christ. If the church is a 'landmark' and many are, that does even not necessarily mean that it must be kept at all costs. The church is really people and the early church grew like wildfire without a building.
The decision is really a personal one which can only be made in light of the clear word of God. What needs to be borne in mind is that there needs to be a committed core of praying, Godly, men (presuming you are following the Bible model of male church leadership) who are humbly prepared to take the issue head on. If not, then walking away is the only option anyway. If such a group exists within the church, make sure that everything is done both biblicaly and constitionaly, the former being the most important.
What does the pente coastal religion believe in?
First of all it is just one word, Pentecostal, and it is not its own religion. Pentecostal is a denomination of the church. Like there are Baptists, Methodists, Assembly of God, Church of Christ, Church of God, Pentecostal,Presbyterian, etc... There is a very long list of denominations which are essentially divisions in the church. This is very sad because God wants us all to be in unity and not have divisions among us. But, no one is perfect and since the fall of man there will never be totalagreement and peace.
You can easily search anywhere online and find definitions and history of Pentecostalism But, if you really want to know the truth and not have any bias in your answer than I would suggest finding a pentecostal church and talking to the pastor. I personally attend an Assembly of God church. Assembly of God does practice a lot of the same teaching that the Pentecostals do. In my opinion there is no doctrine that is totally correct in this world. The only thing that you can follow is the Bible and try your best to do God's will.
What are the qualification and effect of anointing?
Please note that I am a Bible-believing, nondenomination Christian. According to the Bible, (I will use the King James version as it is used by most Christian denominations), anointing comes from God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), and is used for cleansing, and was also given to the elders of a church body for healing purposes.
The word "anoint" in Hebrew means "overflow," and usually pertains to the use of oil, pouring it over a person's head.
In the Greek, the word anoint can mean "spread, rub, apply, or smear with." You may find these examples in: Exodus 28:41, Ruth 3:3, Matthew 6:17, Mark 16:1, Luke 7:46, and Revelations 3:18. These are only a few of the examples spoken of in the Bible.
It is not what we can't do, it's what we choose not to do according to the Bible. Women don't wear pants or immodest shirts, they don't cut their hair (very, very, very few Pentecostal women do cut their hair). Men definitely don't wear skirts, they wear pants and they wear modest shirts, and they keep their hair short, not long. Neither Men nor women wear any jewelry, get tattoos or piercings, consume any alcoholic food or beverage, do or say sinful things, or any other thing the Bible counts as wrong. All want to accept God's perfect plan for their life and serve Him all the way. This does not mean Pentecostals are perfect, because every body makes mistakes and may trip here and there, but God helps Pentecostals to stick to what we believe in.
What is the difference between pentecoastal and presbyterian?
Pentecostal churches tend to be independent fellowships without strong connections to organized denominations; each congregation follows the leading of the Holy Spirit as they feel it. Presbyterian Churches are "connectional," with each local congregation electing elders as representatives to local, regional and national governing bodies. Pentecostals emphasize personal salvation through a "born again" experience as well as the "Second Blessing," or Baptism in the Holy Spirit, evidenced by glossolalia and/or other ecstatic gifts and miraculous signs. Presbyterians place emphasis on covenants and the community, practicing infant baptism and freedom of the individual conscience.
Jesus came down from the mountain where he was fasting for 40 days. And people welcomed him by throwing palms under his donkey so his riding animal would not touch the ground. this was kind of the red carpet treatment. but he was riding a donkey which is more like a poor mans car nowadays. the juxtaposition is supposed to show you how the king of the universe was still a poor man by choice. And also that even-though he was worshipped now, he would be given up to humiliation, torture and death in less than a week.
Christians now bring palms to church, or other flowers if they cannot find palms, to show they worship Jesus.
The palms are then burned and used for ash Wednesday of the next year. Where Catholics wear ash on their foreheads to symbolize their sinfulness.
Is there such thing as a deaconess?
There are only deacons mentioned in the Bible. The word "deaconess" is not in the Bible. Also, a "deacon" is a man.
1 Timothy 3:8 (KJV) Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
1 Timothy 3:9 (KJV) Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
1 Timothy 3:10 (KJV) And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being foundblameless.
1 Timothy 3:11 (KJV) Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
1 Timothy 3:12 (KJV) Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
1 Timothy 3:13 (KJV) For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Some churches do have a role for women, known as "deaconess". This role is more of a "chaplaincy" or counselling role. It does not necessarily denote any position of authority within the church.

Research suggests that people retain approximately 65% of information when it is presented visually, compared to only around 10% when conveyed through text alone. Does the Pentecostal Holiness church accept Masonic rites?
Rites? Do you mean Rituals? I don't speak for all Pentecostal Churches but I can tell you that all rituals have a ruler. Rites or rituals are performed for or to someone or something. I personally don't know about your rites but ask yourself are they performed to Jesus?
If it's not Jesus, then it's idolatry (per the word).
God Bless You!
