A little bit of discharge is normal, especially if it happens during sex when the breasts are being stimulated, but I can't remember what colours are OK for the fluid, and which are warning signs! Better ask your doctor at your next check up. But a litle is OK.

Well alcohol stops it for hours, also bathing or swimming. But i guess both are quite impractical solutions! As far as I know, there is no way to "stop" your period for a day.
