My doctor had told me if it goes up and down,and up and down it could be an ectopic pregnancy. if it keeps dropping you could have a miss carriage but a nurse told me that she had seen the up and down be o.k. once in a great while so don't give up hope but please get checked if it in the tube your tube could blow up go to a fertility doctor that is your best bet to save your tube.

Unfortunately, I have experienced 11 miscarriages. Each time my pregnancy hormone, HCG, began to decline which was a sign that a miscarriage was going to happen. you took a test 5-7 days after you had a period? or after you missed a period? if you had a period, you are not pregnant (unless it was very light, it could be implantation bleeding). if you took the test 5-7 days after a missed period, it should be accurate.

Hcg levels are used to detect how far along the pregnancy has progressed. These values will increase until a point in the pregnancy, when they begin to level off.

Could possibly be a case of a complete molar/partial molar pregnancy. With a complete molar there will be no baby and the hcg levels rise very rapidly and can get to a very high number. With partial molar, there will be a baby but the tissues began to grow and the pregnancy is no viable. The fetus will stop growing and the tissues will continue to grow and the hcg levels continue to rise at a rapid pace as well. This will require a d&c and hcg levels must be monitored after until they reach zero. This could take some time and in some cases further treatment is needed.

it depends on if your gyno said that you did have a misscarrage, when i had one last year it only took 2 days for the HGC level to be back down to zero, and it could also mean that you need a D&C, that depends on how far along you were, i was only 6 weeks and i did not need one! so just make sure

That is a low #. i am 11,000 and 4 weeks. You may want to ask to moniter your # it should double very 2 days. Good luck
