In some cases, paternity can be ruled out based upon blood types. If you are a blood type B- and the mother is blood type B+, a baby with type A or type AB blood cannot be yours - the father has to be someone with type A blood. I think it depends on how early you are in pregnancy. I took 10tests which all were negative even though I knew I am pregnant before the HgC levels were high enough to indicate pregnancy via test. You can usually get an accurate reading about 1-2weeks pregnant with a good test such as Clearblue digital (I used this which indicated I was 1-2weeks pregnant) and I'm not 4weeks pregnant and registered with the midwife. I would go get a blood test done if I were you. Don't stress yourself out or you will be even later if you are not pregnant.

hi I'm in the same kinda situation I got implantation bleeding on the 2nd may ever since that my periods have got in a pattern which is regular for 2 months now its September and I'm 1 day late I'm bloated and tired. I was surpose to come on yesterday which I didn't now I'm 1 day late if i do come on in 7 days it just gone back to irregular periods which i don't want.

A positive answer on a home pregnancy test means that you are pregnant and should see a Dr. A negative answer means that you are not pregnant. If you get a negative response and feel that it is in error you should wait two days and test again or see your Dr.

It's possible, but unlikely. Go see a doctor to be sure. You may need to take some medication to get your period back on track. That happens to some women occasionally.

If the miscarriage was recent, yes, probably. I took a pregnancy test on the day I started bleeding from my miscarriage and it was positive. The ER docs said that only conformed the presence of pregnancy hormones, not whether it was a viable pregnancy. However, my midwife took blood a week later and advised me to take another pregnancy test at the end of the month to confirm my pregnancy hormones were going away. She said if the test was positive in a month, and I was sure I wasn't pregnant again, to come back in and make sure there wasn't something additionally wrong, a thing called a molar pregnancy.
