My Dr. had no problem telling me what my daughter was and they were right! My best friend and sister are pregnant right now and are both having girls. My sister had no problems finding out what she was having but at my best friend's sonogram we were trying so hard to know and the baby had her legs X'ed in front of what we needed to see! So while there is no guarantee you will see it for sure, 20 weeks is your best bet! If not other tests can tell you for sure but they are usually only done under bad circumstances such as amniocentesis' and such. Good luck on your sonogram! Oh, and I do believe that most practices give women 2 sonograms... one around 20 weeks and one around 30 weeks or so and maybe they will tell you there if the one at 20 weeks doesn't pan out!! Pam
