1. Some say Khadija b Khuwaylid was 40, but this was probably to pay her the compliment of being a "wise" woman. Mohammed's cousin Abdullah b Abbas says she was only 26 or 27. Mohammed, her third husband, was 24. She was his only wife for 25 years, and then she died.
