The Israelites had been slaves to the egyptians fo 400 years, and in that time the Pharoh had the Israelites build cities, houses, palaces, memorials those big statues, and also the pyramids. An interesting fact: The pyramids where somtimes used to hold the dead. Only imprtat people like pharohs though.

Now to day majority of the tombs have been raided and taken of their valuables for the afterlife.Sometimes when they constructed the pyramid's, some workers usually gave the master plans and got a profit of the stealing of valuables.Today many tombs were destroyed both by people today and Romes so that the Egyptians the took over would no longer have a strong will they destroyed many antique things of ancient Egypt. Today many people steal from their, and damage the pharaohs body at no cost for greed.
