Quakerism is a 21st century and worldwide religion that originated from those who dissented from the way that Christianity was practiced in England during the tumultuous years that followed the Civil War of the 1640s. The organizational structures that set them apart from other dissenters was established by George Fox and continue to be interpreted by the individual groups of Quakers who function in different countries within groupings termed “Yearly Meetings.” Quakers do not hold any creed and believe that there is something of “God” in every person although in some Quaker churches there are those who do not hold Jesus Christ to be divine or even for there to be a God.

In Christianity, conformist means a church agreeing with the major church influence in a community or society. Nonconformism in England historically meant the churches or Christians who refused to "conform" to the control and the practices of the Anglican Church, the official Church of England.
In this the Quakers of Pennsylvania were nonconformist to other influences, which is why they settled in Pennsylvania, separating themselves.

CAN a quaker be a godparent in the Anglican church?
Seeing as there are people I know who are both Anglicans AND also Quakers, the answer has to be Yes, but whether other churches who practise Christenings, would allow it, I am not sure. I suspect it is likely to vary between different types of Christian Church, and also depend whether the individual potential Godparent is able to make the declarations required.

Yes!! If a quaker parrot is taught well and has attention everyday it can learn lots of words/phrases. It is quite common to own a hand reared talking quaker. Their are many people who own a pet quaker that can say around 64 phrases which made around 104 differnet words. The quaker is a very kind parrot that will be nice to humans if raised well. But a quaker can also be territorial if it sees something like a dog, cat a mouse or possibly a fish it can sometimes attack it and trust me it will TAKE IT ON!!!
