When Allama Ehsan ilahi Zaheer died?

Ubayy bin Ka'b (radiAllahu anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Abu Mundhir! Do you know which Ayah in Allah's Book is the greatest? I said: 'Allah and His messenger know best.'
He (peace be upon him) again said: 'Do you know which Ayah in Allah's Book, according to you, is the greatest?' I (Abu Mundhir) replied: 'It is 'Allah la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum'.[2:255].
Thereupon he (peace be upon him) patted me in the chest and said, ' Rejoice by your knowledge, O Abu Mundhir! (i.e, may this knowledge be a source of respect, honour and benefit to you)'."

Reply to the first allegation:The authenticity of the Hadith is supported by the following facts: # The root of the prophecy lies in the Holy Quran since the eclipses of the moon and the sun are mentioned as important signs of the approach of Resurrection in the Holy Quran and the time of the advent of the Promised Spiritual Reformer is also the Latter Age. The Holy Quran says: He asks: When will be the day of Resurrection? When the eye is dazzled, And the moon is eclipsed, And the sun and the moon are brought together, On that day man will say, whither to escape? (Ch. 75: vs.7-11) When the solar eclipse occurs, the sun and the moon are in conjunction, i.e. they are in the same direction as viewed from the earth. Hence the words and the sun and the moon are brought together signify solar eclipse. The Hadith of Dare Qutani supports this interpretation and gives valuable details about the prophesied eclipses. # The Holy Quran says: He (Allah) is the Knower of the unseen, and He reveals not His secrets to anyone, except to whom He choses, namely a Messenger of His. (Ch.78: vs.27-28) The unique nature of the prophecy and its magnificent fulfillment also indicate that the source is the Holy Prophet sa. When the prophecy in the Hadith has been fulfilled the criticism against the narrators loses significance. The Promised Messiah as has discussed this point in his book Zameema Anjame Atham, Roohani Khazain, Vol.11, pp.333-334. We shall also revert to this in our reply to the sixth allegation. The Promised Messiah as has also replied to the objection raised against the narrators of the Hadith in Tohfae Golarviya, Roohani Khazain, Vol. 17, p.133. # Hadhrat Ali Bin Umar Albaghdadi Ad Dare-Qutani, the compiler of the Hadith, was a very respected saint and was scrupulously careful in recording the saying of the Holy Prophet sa. Hadhrat Shah Abdul Aziz, Muhaddis of Delhi, another eminent elite of Islam, comments about Imam Dare-Qutani in his book Naubatul Fikr thus: Imam Dare-Qutani once said, 'O residents of Baghdad. do not even think that any narrator would be able to refer any false or incorrect statement to the Holy Prophet of Islam sa during my life time.' Naubatul Fikr, (Footnote p.52). # The article under review has expressed doubts as to whether the narrator of the Hadith is really Hadhrat Imam Baqar. Muhammad Bin Ali is considered as Hadhrat Imam Baqar in Iqtirabus Saat by Nawab Siddique Hasan Khan Saheb (p.1061). A photocopy of the relevant page is given in The Advent of Imam Mahdi - A Great Heavenly Sign by Muhammad Azam Ekseer, Rabwah 1994, p.88. Answer: Key concepts in the Qur'an. 1) God is One and Only One - He has no partner, no mother, no father, no daugter and no son. He is the Only Creator, the Only Lord, the Only Judge. No one is to be worshipped but Him. Obedience to one's own self - or a rabbi, priest or imam or anyone or anything else - if those command you to go against what God had commanded is equal to the worship of false gods. Those who worship anyone other than God have lost the point of existence. Only God is God. 2) God sent the Prophets to guide mankind. They all came with the same belief-system, even if certain laws and practices differed. They all came with the same message - obedience to the will of the One God. The first Prophet was Adam. After him came many many others - to all nations. Twenty five of them are mentioned in the Qur'an. Some of those are: Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, John, Jesus and Muhammad ( peace be upon them all ). 3) Muhammad is the Last Prophet - the Messenger of the Covenant foretold in the Bible. Being the Final prophet, Muhammad brought a last revelation which was to remain pure, in its original form. 4) Salvation is based upon two things: belief in the Oneness of God and obedience to God's will. It is not based upon anything else. Though people always fall short and fall into sin ( no one is perfect ) yet God has great Mercy - Grace - for those who try their best. Ultimately, it is up to God, alone, to say if you are successful or a failure. He is the Only Judge. 5) All people will be raised to life again on the Day of Judgment. Then, every individual will either be in Paradise, or Hell. Paradise is permanent. Why have women lost their rights in some fundamentalist Islamic countries?
In all versions of the Bible the value of women is less than that of men.
In the third version, the Islamic Koran, there are explicit surahs which evaluate the value asigned to momen, such as in surah 4:176:
"They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister but no child, she shall have half the inheritance: If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, Her brother takes her inheritance: If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance (between them): if there are brothers and sisters, (they share), the male having twice the share of the female. Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His law), lest ye err. And Allah hath knowledge of all things."
Then we get instructions on how to treat women: well. The Hadiths are quite clear why you should treat women well: "Treat women well, for they are [like] domestic animals ('awan) with you". [1] The Koran is a bit more explicit, as surah 4:34 (Men are caretakers of women … you fear rebellion, convince them, and leave them apart in beds, and beat them. Then, if they obey you, do not seek a way against them. Surely, Allah is the Highest, the Greatest.) grants the husband three levels of punishment: admonish, ignore, beat.
Then you get Sharia, Islamic law, which assigns certain rights to women which are greatly reduced to those of men. The majority of women in Pakistani jails are women who were raped and are punished for this sin.
In Saudi, women are not officially allowed to drive a car and in Iran, where I grew up, religion police are fining women whose chador is not closed tight enough.
The only reason we don't get this in non-Islamic countries is that we have advanced to a more secular approach and women have equal rights, where even this is not applied everywhere.
