on most remotes you can find the codes for your tv by doing this

1-hold the code search button down intil it stay lit

2-press the button that you want to program (vcr,tv)

3-press the code search button again the light sure stay lit

4-press the number button start with 0 when the light flash that will be the first number repeat this step 3 more times remember to write the number down when it flashes

I know its simple but make sure battery is good, if it is something else is going on, it could be there's a bit of corrosion on connectors where the battery goes

look in the manuel u got there should be a web site for you to get the codes or Google Panasonic customer helpsite or number to phone u can get it there there is a default code for if u loose it as some have there own code which should have been in pack when u purchased it is usauly zeros good luck

Most garage door opener manufacturers adhered to new federal guidlines imposed buy the government in the early 90's to include 2 safety devices in each opener to avoid crushing injuries. Most of them use photo eyes you might notice mounted towards the bottom 6 inches of the track that the garage door rides in, ( near the floor on either side of the door). These are used to detect if there may be an obstruction in the path of a CLOSING door. IF these photo eyes cannot see each other (the beam of infra-red light between them is interupted), the opener is programmed to allow the door to close as long as someone push and holds the wall button in throughout the downward travel of the door. This forces an individual to observe the downward movement of the door, thus, hopefully preventing an injury or property damage. Usually these photo eyes will have small LED lights on them. IF both LED lights are on, this means the photo eyes can see each other, if not, try adjusting or bending the brackets until they are lined up and lights can be seen on each photo eye. This is a very common problem. It sometimes only takes a slight bump to knock them out of alignment. If this doesn't work, make sure the wiring from the photo eyes up to the opener is in tact and connected securely. Don't worry about a shock, most openers use low voltage for this system.

These are both correct you will also have some of them having problems during the day but not at night most of the time this is caused by the sunlight shining in on the receving side. Easy fix is to swap the sensors

Power Scan

1. Turn the TV on

2. Press and hold the TV mode button for three seconds - The LED should flash

3. Press the red TV POWER button

4. Press the UP or DOWN arrow buttons on the remote (about one press per second). Stop as soon as the device turns off. - The TV should turn off

5. Press # - the remote is now addressed to the TV.

I had bought an RCA universal remote to replace my lost rtd325w remote and still no luck. I can get it to operate most dvd functions, but no audio options. The original replacement remote is a whopping 35 dollars for a system I bought brand new for 99 dollars. I am going to be selling my system, and getting a different brand that does not charge a third of the product cost just for the remote control. RCA obviously does not care about the consumer, and wants to make as much money as possible. They have lost me as a customer.
