i have the same problem with a Renault clio 182 cup.

French cars ain't the best for this stuff :(

When you lift the bonnet look at the back to the right of the engine, there is a small vacuum tube leading to the map sensor that is clip locked to the bodywork approx 2" long by 1" wide.

You'll have to remove dipstick tube first and then push broken dipstick out from the bottom side up. Before removal of the tube clean surroundings to avoid dirt from getting into engine.

Your handbook recommends 7 years or 72000 miles whichever comes first i just had mine done at 69000 8 years olc because of small cracks in the belt well worth doing really expensive if it goes!

Go to petrol station. Get petrol. Wahoo!

hi this might help :the heater blower fan resistor is situated in the top of the air ducting behind glove box and pass airbag.Access to it requires removal of the top part of the dashpad and also part of the flexible demister ducting.May be a good idea to check the cabin filter for blockage(access from pass footwell)as this can cause resistor to overheat

once the engine is running, press the information button until it says "service due", then keep the button pressed. "service due" will now flash, keep the button pressed, then the new "miles to next service" will be shown, release the button and it's now reset. hope this helps I tried this on an 05 megane and it did not work.In additon you must press a small button next to 150mph on the speedo until it blinks and cleers instead of keeping the button pressed. good luck

When you press the button on your key fob, it sends a signal to a reciever, unfortunatly the reciever is up in the interior light infront of your leaky sunroof. I suspect if you pull the sensor down it will be full of water. Hope this helps I had the same problem and here's how I fixed it 1.Park the car on level ground.Open both sunroofs and carefully pour water in the drainage channels at the sides of the sunroof frame.Note where the water can overflow these channels and get into the headliner. 2.Carefully build up the drainage channels that are too shallow with clear or black silicone adhesive.Fill the various holes in the sunroof frame with silicone - yes , there are several! Be carefull not to clog the drive screws for the sunroof or block the normal operation of the sunroof. 3.Leave roofs open to dry overnight and then check for smooth operation of roofs. Just in case some water leaks in despite this work: drill 3 small drainage holes in the overhead console.I put mine at the foreward lower edge of the console.One at each corner and one in the center. Close both sunroofs and drench the roof from a hose .Watch for leaks. Drive the car DOWN a steep hill to force the water towards the forward drainage hoses. Watch for leaks. You did clear out debris and kinks in these drainage hoses didn't you??? They exit behind the front wheel arch splash shields.

To reset the service light. First press the button on the control stalk until the survive due message appears. Then you must press and hold the same button until the message stars to flash. Continue to hold the button until it resets and you get a new message xxxxx miles to next service.

to remove the old one there are 3 fixing points one is at the ball joint undo but dont remove the bush bolts jack the leg up to keep the spring tolt remove from ball joint at this point be carefull not to pull the drive sharft out of the gearbox / remove the bush bolts and your done put the new one on the same way .

If it is the 8 valve engine then ensure you adjust them when the engine is cold. inlet- 0.10mm-0.15mm, exhaust 0.25mm - 0.30mm. if it is the 16 valve engine then the valves are hydraulic.

DONT KNOW WHO HAS TOLD YOU THAT ABOUT THE 16V BUT THEY ARE NOT HYDRAULIC THEY ARE ADJUSTABLE

The oil can only be obtained from your Renault dealer and is HSHC 77 11 172 160 UV1. It's only made in France and there is no substitute. Cost is approx 15 quid for 250ml and goes in the reservoir which can be found in the boot compartment. Hope this helps

This problem is usually a bad earth on one of the light units in question. Clean the connection and then give them a coat of petroleum jelly before replacing them.

i have a megane scenic 2004 and just discovered that i can switch off passenger airbag by a switch in the dash , which you would see when opening the drivers door. Sorry don not know about service light.

I do'nt have a picture,but the catch is under the dash on the left hand side of the passenger footwell.After this you also need to pull the catch on the front grille.

where is the fuse located for display dials

after diving in to the job myself to save £120 and after a lot of fruastration, the best way is to remove the driveshaft first to give plenty of room for the starter motor to drop out the bottom.....

It's under the bonnet by the blower, it has a push and slide connector and sometimes a other 2 wire connector.

it needs to be reset by computer

Turn off power. Press accel pedal to floor. Turn keys two notches. While pressing the accel press brake three times. Depress accel and turn off keys.

You require the 4 digit code from the dealership. You will need to enter this via the steering wheel stork or central locking button dependant on the model.
