Can neck arthritis cause by high level of uric acid?

No Arthritis can be a symptom of a high level of uric acid as in the case of Gouty arthritis for example. In that case the arthritis is the result of a high concentration of uric acid in the blood leading to the Uric acid crystallising into fine sharp shards which in turn settle in certain joints and other areas of the body. the kidneys are supposed to clean uric acid from the system. Uric acid is metabolised from purines which are a part of the nucleus of the living cells we eat and those that we turn over in our own body's as cells die and are replaced. Different foods for example produce more or less uric acid.

pineapple - contains bromelain, an enzyme known to have anti-inflammatory properties.

ginger - contains gingerol, which is believed to inhibit inflammation

turmeric - contains curcumin, which is known to shut down some proteins that cause inflammation

When your 6 year old has a sed-rate of 20 fever and a headache what does this mean?

The normal sedimentation rate (Westergren method) for males is 0-15 millimeters per hour, and for females is 0-20 millimeters per hour. The sedimentation rate can be slightly more elevated in the elderly and is much lower for children. A raised ESR is an indicator of a problem it will not tell you what the problem is.

sedimentation Rate (Sed Rate) or ESR blood test measures how quickly red blood cells (erythrocytes) settle in a test tube. The more red cells that fall to the bottom of a special test tube in one hour, the higher the sed rate.

When inflammation is present in the body, certain proteins cause red blood cells to stick together and fall more quickly than normal to the bottom of the tube. These proteins are produced by the liver and the immune system under many abnormal conditions, such as an infection, an autoimmune disease, and cancer. There are many possible causes of an elevated sedimentation rate. For this reason, a sed rate blood test is done with other tests to confirm a diagnosis. Once a sed rate blood test is conducted, the course of the disease or the effectiveness of treatment can be monitored.

How does anemia menstruation kidney and thyroid disease cancer age homorne disorder and certain infections affect erythrocyte sedimentation rate.?

How is ESR affected by anaemia? In anemia hematocrit is reduced and as a result the velocity of the upward flow of plasma is causing the red blood cell aggregates to fall faster. Macrocytic red cells that have a smaller surface-to-volume ratio also settle more rapidly.

How is ESR affected by Menstruation? ESR is not effected by menstruation.

How is ESR affected by kidney disease? ESR is raised as a result of the presence of Infection, Inflammation, Malignancy. As one of these symptoms are likely to be present it would lead to a raised ESR

How is ESR affected by thyroid disease? Unless there is Infection, Inflammation, Malignancy the ESR would remain unaffected.

How is ESR affected by cancer? ESR becomes raised where there is a malignancy.

How is ESR affected by Age? ESR becomes higher with age

How is ESR affected by homorne disorder? ESR is not affected by hormone levels

I have Rheumatoidarthritis and what you describe here sounds like the inflammation I get in my fingers from time to time. I would suggest that you see your doctor and get checked out. Inflamation of the joints needs to be treated with an anti inflammatory to stop or at least reduce damage done to them. Left untreated serious damage can be done to joints. Ask to get checked out for RA.
