Rottweilers have the potential to be great pets and love their owners a great deal. I have a two year old rott myself and she is just a love bucket waiting to crawl into your lap (yes my 80 pound dog thinks she is a laptop). Like with any other dog, you ave to bring up your dog right to make it a good pet. Make sure to socialize your animals with lots of people and other animals. Start obedience training early, before the dog it too big to handle. use a system of positive reinforcement so your dog is not scared of you. You want your dog to respect you, not be scared. A scared dog is a high risk dog.
Are rottweilers supposed to be dewclawed?
Most breeders do not tend to remove the front dewclaws, however they do have rear dewclaws removed as per the breed standard. Dew claws are normally removed within the first few days as a pup, this must be done by a veterinarian. As with all dogs they can catch them, which can be very painful, or they can become overgrown, consulting a veterinarian in these situations is the best way forward, they may suggest having them removed which will require sedation. Most rottweilers are born with just the front dewclaws, however rear dewclaws are quite common.

Unless it was raised badly to attack, but if you just treat them right they will be the cuddliest. Just raise them like you would raise any other dog that you care about!
Answer
Rottweilers are not for the novice owner. They can be very Strong willed, but with correct training and socialisation, from day one, they are an outstanding breed. You get out what you put in. If you don't have the time to put into them, then it isn't the breed to consider as your family pet. Bad ownership, creates bad pets. Left to their own devices, this breed becomes problematic.
Answer (no2)
Rottweilers are only dangerous if they feel they are going to be attacked. With the right amount of training, Rottweilers can actually be very, very friendly. Just make sure you train it well.
What is the best food for a rotwiler?
There are alot of good foods out there. Here are just a few in my opinion: Canidae, Wellness, Natural Balance, Solid Gold, Evo, Innova, Fromm, and Eagle Pack. It really depends what you are looking for in a food. I would suggest staying away from foods with Corn, by-products, wheat, soy, and dyes. Most grocery stores have those type of foods so I would suggest going to a respectable petfood retail store or going online and ordering it. That's just my suggestion, hope that helped!!

What is the differences between a Russian rottweiler and an American rotweiler?
While there is only one rottweiler breed, there are different "types" out there. Essentially they are different bloodlines, and tend to be based on region. The "German" type, and essentially European type, tend to be a little stockier in look, with richer color and a blocky head with a more bulldogish snout. To be used for breeding, these dogs not only have to conform in type, but also be certified for working ability. They may be harder indisposition and/or more energetic, which is required for working dogs. With the "American" type, these dogs tend to be larger and/or taller (leggier). Generally they'll have slightly less blocky heads with a longer nose. These dogs tend to be more companion oriented and not work oriented, meaning they may have wonderful, soft dispositions or may be weak of nerve. They generally do no have the working ability of the German type, but are bred to be more flexible, with many becoming service dogs, for example. As German breeders are more organized, they tend to have less health issues than American dogs, of which any back yard breeder can breed. So though only German Rottweilers are those born in Germany, the German type Rottweiler has become very popular in America, being advertised as the better type of dog. Keep in mind there are excellent and poor examples on either side, and you don't necessarily want a 'better' dog, but a dog that suits you and your life style the most. Look for a well known, responsible breeder and do your research.
