What are the reasons why people do not believe in Satan?
Mostly it is for the same reason that people do not believe in any gods. There is simply no proof of their existence. Holy books such as Tanakh, Midrash, Bible, Qu'ran, Book of Mormon,etc, are only claims of supernatural beings. They are not proof and cannot be proven; just like they cannot be disproven either.
There is no equivalent for the Holy Trinity in Satanism/demonology. Some forms of Satanism may occasionally have a rough match, but in general (and in most organized variations), there is Satan and Satan alone.
The general reasoning behind that is the tri-partite "God" of the Christians is a single being, split in power and presence. Lucifer/Satan is the demonic counterpart, and is rather more unified in His power. Thus, the "good" team has some confusing 3-in-1 deal, while the "bad guys" have a pretty clear-cut who's-boss setup.

No. The 33rd degree is part of the Scottish Rite system, and represents the governing body for the jurisdiction in question. No part of Freemasonry involves worship of Satan or even discussing him. The Scottish Rite is, in part, explicitly Christian in nature.

- Having met satanists, they are often pleasant and very calm and casual people.
- You could well have spoken to a satanist, they dont often tell people about their beliefs.
