The statement below is wrong. God speaks about His children choosing sides. He speaks of no longer knowing the name of His child once their head has been turned and they made the decision to not live a life for the Lord, completely denying His exsistence. Lucifer was selfish, Gods most beautiful angel. But his selfishness led him to want more power, putting himself before God. Because of Lucifers falling, he was given another name satan. He is no longer a blessed being of God's. Lucifer was Satans name before he died, and became Satan.

This is why there is death today, because Satans selfishness. God never created the world with death, He created the world by speaking life. He is not God of death. Earth is no longer our home, Heaven is. Heaven is were Gods followers will forever live, and Hell is where Satans followers will forever perish.

God clearly stated one day Satan will die and be defeated.

Lucifers name means "the light bringer". He is NOT Satan. Satan and Lucifer are in fact two separate beings. Lucifer is a fallen angel. Satan is Gods arch-enemy. The fallen angels and demons are Satan's followers.

How are the two seperate beings if the bible states that they are the same being? What religion is this.....

The Bible speaks of: "...an innumerable company of angels..." which God created. So, if the Dragon, (Satan - Rev.12:9), drew "one-third of God's angels" along with him in his rebellion (Rev.12:4)... stars represent angels, according to the Bible (Rev.1:20): Then, one-third of an innumerable company of angels must certainly represent a thousand-thousands of angels... not 12. Nor does the Bible name the demons, with the possible exception of "Legion." "...My name is Legion: for we are many." (Mark 5:9) "...Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him." (Luke 8:30)

Minor Notes:

Sammael is often understood as the original name of the leader of the fallen angels, though it was never made clear that it referred to Lucifer. Satan simply means "Betrayer," and the one we call Lucifer is often referred to as "the Great Betrayer." Lucifer is 'The Great Betrayer' simply because he was the brainchild behind the origins of the fall.

Fallen angels are not demons, demons are the offspring of Lillith, the first wife of Adam, according to Jewish scripture. They are also described as particularly ugly and malformed, as they were all products of her incest with her own offspring.

There are MANY Fallen Angels, but a few of them are named in the Book of Enoch. It is also true that about one-third of the angels did fall, but there are some inconsistencies in these other answers. Lilith was NOT the first wife of Adam. That is completely untrue. Lilith however is a Fallen Angel who supposedly in folklore gave birth to all the creatures of the night.

Fallen Angels ARE demons. But demons and Satan himself are not ugly and putrid as myth says. Satan and the demons are beautiful unimaginably attractive beings. This is how they seduce and deceive and this is how the fallen angels were corrupted, because of their pride in power, knowledge and beauty.

The word Hasatan, often shortened to Satan is Hebrew for Adversary, which is another word for Enemy. Satan is not Lucifer's name, but it is a title that was given to him after God damned him from heaven.

Sammael is also not a former leader of the Fallen Angels. Sammael is the Fallen Angel of Death in Jewish beliefs and is often depicted as being Satan, but he is not. The Christian archangel of death is Azrael.

In Enoch 69:4-12., there is a list of the names of the fallen angels.

Yeqon - "one who misled all the children of the angels, brought them down upon the earth, and perverted them by the daughters of the people"

Asb'el - "one who gave the children of the holy angels an evil counsel and misled them so that they would defile their bodies by the daughters of the people"

Gader'el - "he who showed the children of the people all the blows of death, who misled Eve, who showed the children of the people (how to make) the instruments of death (such as) the shield, the breastplate, and the sword for warfare, and all (the other) instruments of death to the children of the people"

Pinem'e - "demonstrated to the children of the people the bitter and the sweet and revealed to them all the secrets of their wisdom. Furthermore he caused the people to penetrate (the secret of) writing and (the use of) ink and paper"

Kasadya - "he who revealed to the children of the people (the various) flagellations of all evil - (the flagellation) of the souls and the demons, the smashing of the embryo in the womb so that it may be crushed, the flagellation of the soul, snake bites, sunstrokes, the son of the serpent, whose name is Taba'ta"

EDIT: There was far more than 12 fallen angels banished from Heaven. There was far more than 21 +7. The number is too great to list. No human will ever know just how many were lost during the fall, or all the reasons why. The important angels who were fallen are listed. Other important ones who fell aren't. It is how it goes. You will never know.

Now, for the rest of the inaccuracies. Some I have corrected above. The rest are being corrected below.

Lillith was NEVER an Angel. Lillith was always a dark creature. She WAS the first wife of Adam, she did create many monstrous creatures in her legacy upon this world. She was an evil being.

Fallen angels are NOT demons. They are simply fallen angels who were cast out.

Demons are beautiful. Demons are HIDEOUS. Make no mistake about it. They can be the most breathtaking creatures you have ever seen and in the next breath they can be the most horrifying. That is their nature.

The Angels who fell were not corrupted by demons. They fell because of their love for HUMANS.

First of all, only The Bible is the true basis of true faith and not any other books you wish to read, that is if you want truth and not myth.

So it all breaks down to this, NO Lilith or such name mentioned in the Bible so forget her.

Demons are not ugly creature, they are spirits and spirits are NOT physical beings and has No form. They are the fallen angels and their leader who mastermind the idea of overthrowing God is the one called Satan or Lucifer or the morning star in some Bible translations. He thinks he is like God because of his wisdom and beauty.

No specific number of demons/fallen angels was mentioned but was described as many.

(In reference to the previous) Lilith WAS in fact Adam's first wife originally in the Torah, but they removed it, as well as other things, for whatever the reason. The Old Testament of the Bible is based of said Torah, also removing bits and pieces in the process. It was also said in the Book of Enoch that 1/3 of the angels in heaven fell with Lucifer.

And, on a side note, the the parts of the Bible have been added removed and

changed since each part was written, due to religious differences.

You might want to make sure the names you look for and find are not of thoe from the Grigori that were sent to teach man certain things and slept with humans.

The idea of Lilith as a "prior first woman" before Eve arises much later. The only reference to Lilith in the Bible (Old or New Testaments) is Isaiah 34:14, probably written around 540 BC; it's a description of desolation, jackals and ravens among nettles and briers, etc.: "Goat demons shall greet each other; there too the lilith will repose." Most of the other creatures referenced in this poetry cannot be positively identified. The KJV, following the Vulgate, translates "the lilith" as "the night demon," confusing the lili- with the Hebrew word for night. But presumably Isaiah meant some sort of demon.

Despite what television, newspapers, and Hollywood have all told you, underground Satanic cults don't really exist, or at least not in the way your expecting them to. A little intro to the religion first.

For the most part, Satanists don't usually have huge social circles. This all goes back to the philosophy they follow. So when 2 or 3 Satanists do happen to get together, even for a small social event, this can often lead to problems with the rest of society.

I can't speak for the rest of the world (but certainly in Ireland), when the 'general public' somehow finds out that a group of 5 or 6 Satanists meet-up at a certain park every week this leads to alot of media attention and a lot of rumors about "underground Satanic cults" operating in the area.

Its not an underground thing in any way. Its simply a few Satanists getting together.

Also, I think Jewish people suffer from similar problems because they are also another minority religion who tend to stick together. Though the persecution of Jews is somewhat limited now and the slander they receive isn't quite as bad as some of the slander Satanists receive.

We try not to socialize too much in public, other than for friendly chat. We don't dress in black all the time, so it can be hard to tell us apart from the regular population. We don't attend black masses much, either. We are dispersed around the world, making it hard for us to come together for large groups. For the most part, we own private altars and worship there privately.
