Raise the hood, turn the L shaped pins away from anything above them and then pull them up away from the car. You should be able to wiggle the light housing out after that. Spin and remove the cap. Turn and remove the Light connector (has wires coming from it). Then turn and remove the locking ring (around bulb). Remove the burned out bulb. Replace the bulb, and reverse these instructions.

Saturn Ion from 03-07 has a electric power steering motor located under the steering wheel.
The solution would be :
1. Check your fuse boxes for any bad fuses mini fuses inside your car ( panel is next to your right leg on the driver side under the radio) and or your maxi fuse under your hood ( where the red tab is on the black box).
2. If you checked your fuse boxes then the next thing you might need is Calipers for both sides on the front wheels even more so if you hear a grinding noise. Because you might have a brake drag ( when brake pads don't open all the way up) throwing your sensors off (check your brakes for uneven wear).
3. Last you just might need a new power steering motor.
There are many possibilities, map sensor, EGR valve, TPS... and a lot more. If the light comes on, you'll need to connect an OBD code scanner to find out what the computer detected. The computer should have stored the problem code if the light came on.

How do you change the spark plugs on a 2007 Saturn Ion?
First, you must do this with a cold engine or you could damage your valves.
Remove the black plastic plate covering the engine.
Undo the 10mm bolts holding on the spark plug boots.
Tug out the plug wires by the boot, never tug the wires!
The plugs are deep, remove spark plugs using a spark plug socket attached to an extension.
Apply anti-seize to the new spark plugs.
Place new spark plugs by holding the extension in hand, do not use a wrench! Slowly and gently begin screwing in the new spark plugs, careful not to cross-thread. If you feel any resistance, unscrew the plug and try again.
Then replace bolts and cover. Done!
