Schnauzers

Our miniature schnauzer used to raise his head, purse his lips and gently howl like a wolf. By observation, he seemed to do this whenever his was being held at a time when he wanted to be put down on the floor. He would stop when you put him down. Our other schnauzer does not do this - - he communicates that he wants to be put down by struggling and biting. This is slightly less endearing but more usual behavior.

Our howling schnauzer was later found to have ear infections and a neurological disease. We don't know if this contributed to the howling.

Howling in dogs is a throwback to wolf behavior. All domestic dogs are descended from wolves. Wolves howl for social reasons related to cohesiveness of the packs in which they live. Dogs consider their human families to be their pack.

Many dogs will howl when exposed to cacophonous noise such as a human signing off-key. This is an ingenious form of "noise cancelling" that a dog does in order to avoid what appears to be physical pain caused by the annoying noise. Because this may be a sign that the dog is suffering pain, pet owners are not supposed to encourage dogs to howl by signing or playing music to them.

You bring it to vet and tell them that it is overheated and than they will do somthing to him

You could try to breed a giant with a mini but it probably depends on their first impression and if the miniature is intimidated by the giant. Also, prob depends on the gender, and which is which.

I have never given my miniature schnauzers cow milk. i would stick to just strictly giving them water.

Well there is no being exact so honestly i don't know but smaller dogs tend to live longer than larger dogs.

It all depends on the dogs really. I used to have a great dane named Sam and even though he was huge he liked smaller dogs and playing with them. I was always scared to let him play because of his size I didn't want him to hurt small dogs.

I used to have a giant schnauzer. She was about 70-80 ish pounds and was the runt of her litter. They are fairly large dogs and can weigh up to and even over 100 pounds and can be around 25-30 inches at the shoulder area. They are extremely powerful dogs, very solidly built but in my history of owning schnauzers, I have never had a fat or even chubby schnauzer. They tend to be lean and muscular. My schnauzer was able to easily reach an average height dining table but a proper sized one would definitely be alb to. They are large dogs but they don't seem so, maybe because they are so solid and not out of proportion, possibly the tail makes them seem smaller? But yeah, they can be big but are the greatest breed ever. Good for active lifestyles, mine have been great with children and very calm animals overall. :)

Haha, this is a key in a dogs life. Many have gas and you dont know it. Mine always does. It comes from their food. You may not know it, but it does. They like to just let it out, since they arent heard much.

I would say no. Dogs really shouldn't be eating any "human food" at all as it is bad for them and can shorten their life-span. (But to be sure ask your vet.)

Feedings are determined by weight and age mostly....when our schnauzer was 5 months old, he ate about a cup or a cup and a half....but if yours is bigger, maybe two cups. make sure you dont overfeed it, because schnauzer tend to eat alot and gain weight quickly...look on the side of the dog food bag to get the correct amount...always leave food out so he/she can get some whenever it wants.
