How do you reset Service light SEAT Altea?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

If the service light is in the shape if a spanner then I presume it is like the 2008 model. In which case press and hold the trip button "0.0" before inserting the key. Insert ignition key while holding down the trip button and turn on ignition without starting car. Release the trip button and the service light spanner will cease to flash. Now turn the trip button to the right (clockwise) and it will reset. Service light (spanner) should disappear and only return when the next service is due!
