Most go for 200.00 to 2000.00 depending on the detail work, side clips, wood grain, engraving, side lock vs box. Side locks bring more money.

Almost all of these guns are great field hunting weapons....very reliable. (the single trigger guns could fire both barrels on one pull....an easy fix for a gunsmith)

Priceless, If it was your great granddads. I have one circa 1910 it is an oak leaf brand. I think it is a W M Enders made by union arms. It is not demascus steel so it is safe to shoot. I reblued mine in 2006 during a round with the flu, took about 2 weeks to complete. I left the original stocks. It appraised for around $150.00.

Well I'm assuming you mean the Champion 12 gauge single shot?

If so by the cocking pin there is a lever that moves vertical left from right. Turn the lever right an the barrel breaks. (The lever basicaly right on top of the stock )

A rifled slug can be fired from a smoothbore barrel with relative accuracy to about 100 yards. By relative accuracy, I mean that shots can be held in a 5 inch circle. That is about the size of the target zone on a deer. For a rifled barrel, rifled slugs should NOT be used, but sabot slugs can be.

Remove the forend, then the barrel. The serial number will be on the underneith side of the bottom barrel at the point where it hinges with the rear stock. You may need a magnifying glass.

There is no way to correctly answer this without knowing which parts are still useable. For instance, good barrels have the most value, in my opinion, and the wood is very easily bought from many sources, so unless excellent is not worth much.
