Which is the better rifle for 30-06 Remington or savage?
This is an opinion. I like Remington. Feels good, looks good and nearly impossible to beat for accuracy especiall the Mod 700. Some might not like the price and some will crtisise the Remington extractor / ejector system. If you want fast follow up shots without sacraficing looks, power or accuracy the Remington 7600 is unbeatable.

Why do they call some guns a single shot revolver?
"Single shot revolver" refers to the Savage 101 target pistol.
This gun looks like a slightly smaller version of a Colt Single Action Army (Peacemaker) revolver. It does not, however, have a revolving cylinder. What looks like the cylinder is a swinging chamber block with a single chamber in it, making it, in fact, single shot.
These guns are not very common because the oddball design did not sell very well.

Recently, in my area, where the seller is voluntarily selling and the buyer is voluntarily buying ... and etc. Rifles with long actions bring around $500 in excellent condition. Short actions bring slightly less (less popular). Carbines bring slightly more. Older rifles and carbines bring slightly more.
The only time we can arrive at a true value is when the buyer and the seller agree on a price!

Sears Roebuck ted Williams 12 gauge 2 34 full Shotgun model 282.510820 made in Brazil how old is it?
i don't know myself, i own a ted Williams 12ga with the barrel break in front of the trigger and breaks down into three parts i think its from about 45ish
I have the same single shot shotgun. my Ted Williams has a serial number #624880 and breaks open about 3 inches from the trigger guard. It has fillegree(sp) etching on bothsides of the receiver 12 ga. 2 3/4" full on the left side and Ted Williams above Sears, Roebuck And Co. Chicargo, Ill. under that is MADE IN BRAZIL. I bought mine from and individual in 1984 already used. Since the state's id is 3 letters long that dates it a bit before the 2 letter id came in.
If anyone has any infor or a manual for this shotgun pleas respond.
Not sure, the chances of it being a high standard is pretty good. The name revelation was marketed thru Western Auto dealers for many years. One may try such a dealer, maybe an older store. You may have a real collectors item there.

A 22 WMR cartridge should be a bit too fat for a 22 LR chamber. If the magnum shells will go into the cylinder but it is NOT marked 22 WMR, I wouldn't shoot it at all! If it IS marked as a magnum, don't use standard 22s.

The serial number makes this a Crass model, named after the designer, Fredrick Crass. It was manufactured between 1888 and 1901 and was offered in quality level 1 through quality 7. Guns above quality level 4 are rarely encountered and should be professionally appraised. The quality mark is usually on the left side corner of the water table on the frame. The present value will depend considerably on the condition with the ranges going from $100 to 800 for a quality level 1 to $100 to 2000 for a quality level 4 this for a condition ranging from poor to excellent.
