I have never heard of a Model 696, however the PREMIER was a medium frame hinged frame/break open revolver which was made from mid 1890s up through mid 1940s. There are at least three models and numerous variations within the models. Values will vary from around $35 in poor condition up to slightly over $300 in EXC condition - depending upon finish, barrel length, model and variation. Need more info.

I just purchased a Stevens Model 311D 20gauge shotgun on 4/17/2008. It is in very good used condition. I paid $375.00. I believe I got a very good deal.

Guns with the name New White Powder Wonder were made by the Crescent Fire Arms Company, W.H. Davenport Arms, Meridian Fire Arms Company or Stevens Arms & Tool Company. They were made for and sold by Sears Roebuck & Company.

You need to provide the model number as a start to identify what company manufactured the gun. The condition is very important for determining the value. At most, it is worth a few hundred dollars and may be worth considerably less.

well I bought mine used for $75 at the pawn shop,it's an older model with the wood stock and dark chamber.The new model cost about $115-135 through H&R(the new owners of NEF)or wal-mart.the new model has black stock with a silver chamber.

Many questions need to be answered before a exact date can be found. With serial numbers in such a low range I would guess the gun to be very old. We would need to know the proof marks and all lettering on the gun. The number you have given may have been before 1892 but then again it may have been into the 1930's era. Much depends on who built the gun. Try going to the Doublegun BBS and give all the info you can find on the gun when you ask your question. The old Daly guns were built by many makers and the best by Lindner in Germany.

The Sears Ranger 12 gauge model 102.25 was made by Stevens Arms Company and designed by Browning. 100% grade would put the value at approx. $200.00 if it was a Stevens. Less to some buyers if they are not attracted to the Sears marketing of the same gun. I personally think you would be safe at $150.00 for a nice used gun that has most of the bluing and the wood is in good condition. These guns are very trustworthy and are very dependable. A real shooters shotgun.

The JC Higgins Model 31 rifle was manufactured for Sears and Roebuck by Hi Standard.

That is impossible to say without inspecting the gun. Condition and grade are variables which control the value. Parkers are highly sought after by collectors and should be appraised by a reputable source. Beware: there are numerous refinished and upgraded guns which have been passed off as original.

A longer shotgun barrel typically results in higher muzzle velocity due to increased internal pressure build-up as the shot travels along a longer pathway, allowing for more complete powder burn and acceleration of the shot. This can result in a slight increase in overall velocity and possibly better shot pattern at longer distances.

I bought one in excellent condition at a gun show for $400. after the dealer came down from $450. Mine has joined barrels and sling. It's actual value on the market I would place between $600. and $700., with the likelihood that this price will increase in coming years. I wouldn't take $1200. for mine.

Coast to Coast Model 267 20 gauge according to Proohouse.com is the Savage model 77; however it looks like a Remington 870 clone to me. Ron Montgomery rgmont@verizon.net

A Churchill shotgun marked with Kassner and Multi XII 12 gauge is worth what someone is willing to pay, BUT it is worth at least $450 cash and not a dime less. These guns were manufactured for skeet and clay. Darrell

About half a dozen companies made shotguns for Montgomery Wards through most of the 20th century.

Eastern Arms Co. was the trade name placed on inexpensive shotguns and revolvers made for Sears. The Sears part numbers 101.XXX were made Savage/Stevens although the 101.18 isn't listed on the site I visited. You may be able to match your model using a gun values book for the photos or going to the Numrich web site (gunpartscorp.com) and looking at the Savage/Stevens pictures.

It depends on the model. The numbers are always on the receiver, never the barrel. Pumps and autos are on the bottom of the receiver, forward of the carrier. Over/Under serial numbers are under the action release lever on top of the tang. Move the lever to open and you will see the serial number.

Yes they did make them, around 1930. I own two Iver Johnson SS shotguns with raised ribs, a 410 & a 12ga.
