I have and old Western Field 20 ga deer gun and it's designed just like my new Mossberg 500 12 ga. The safety on both guns are on the top and the pump action is very similar. So my guess is that Mossberg made the western field. If you have transposed letters and you meant XNH, this was the Montgomery Ward code for Nobel guns.

It was made by J. Stevens Arms (division of Savage Arms) sometime after 1920.

I just received a 12 gauge over/under Boita from a dear friend of mine. I needed to aquire another shotgun so that my nephew and I could shoot trap simultaneously, and my friend let me borrow his grandfather's. It is an old gun and was manufactured in Brazil. The Brazillians are known to make fine shotguns. I did all kinds of research only to discover that today's prices range anywhere from $250.00 to about $400.00. I really do not know if I trust the information however. It would be worth your while to purchase a gun value book. I just saw one in Dick's Sporting Goods Store and almost bought it myself. I did not yet look up the Boita. I know this is not much information but I hope it enlightens you a little. If you shoot the Boita you will discover what a fine gun it truly is. For $400.00 I will keep it for trap forever. It is just as good as any BT99 or Citori I have ever used. Good luck.

W H Hamilton was an importer in New York City c. 1875-1885. The same name was used as a trade name on shotguns made in Belgium by F. Dumoulin & Co and sold by Thomas Leary about 1904-1910. It would PROBABLY be a 12 gauge but made for 2 1/2" shells and the ones made in the 1800's would be for black powder shells. The value would be $100-$250 for use as a mantle decoration. Don't try to shoot it unless it has been checked and approved by an experienced gunsmith.

Your Stevens model 67 shotgun was of recent manufacture,having last been made in 1989.The value is going for between 125-200 dollars.It was made in 12,20,410 gauge,all with 3in.chambers.The recievers were made of steel,and they had a 5 shot capacity.there weight was between 6 1/4-7 1/2 pounds.

I found a used Richland Arms 45 cal muzzle loader today. The gun shop had it for sale at $225. I almost bought it but I know nothing about the Mfgr. On the barrel was stamped "Made in Italy" and Blissfield Michigan. Hope this helps.

anywhere from $250 to $1200. a mildly used shotgun like the model 12 with no scratches and very good bluing that has a clean barrel would fetch about $$800.

A new utility single shot costs $89.95. A used one will be 1/2 to 2/3 as much, depending on condition.

SINCE YOUR GUN WAS MADE BY CRESCENT ,IT HAD TO HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED FROM 1889 TO 1926 ,1926 IS WHEN SAVAGE TOOK OVER CRESCENT. Mississippi Valley Arms was a trade name distributed by Shapleigh Hardware Co of St LouisThey Were made by W.H. Davenport Arms Co (1891-1910), Crescent Fire Arms (1892-1930), and J. Stevens Arms (1930-1948).

the model 235 hammer guns were made from 1912 to 1932 in different chokes and styles, 90% or better run between 5 to 600 dollars, 95% or better slightly higher, i have several 235's, well made doubles for their time

Janssen Fils & Co was making guns from 1895 to 1965. Since yours is marked in English (Sons instead of Fils) it was made for export to the US and the mass import of shotguns from Belgium was cut off by WWI and never resumed after, so it's a pretty good bet that yours was made between 1895 and 1914. Value will be determined by how nice it looks over the mantle, usually $150 to $250.

Bellmore Gun Co was a store-brand manufactured by Crescent. I don't know what you mean by the "code".

I have a j Stevens model 1915 (Favorite) Long Rifle Lever Action Rifle, Serial Number 115. If my memory serves me correctly my father told me he received it for his 12th birthday in 1924. It is in excellent condition. I had it refinished (metal and wood) several years ago. Big mistake I am told. Hope this helps.

I don't know the value of your .22 Ranger bolt action,but it was made by Marlin for and sold by Ranger.It is the same as the Marlin model 80.All parts will fit

I think I just answered this yesterday. Volunteer was a trade name owned by Belknap Hardware of Louisville, KY. The guns were made by Crescent, Crescent-Davis, Davis-Warner, Stevens, etc.
