Do they use huskys?

Yes, huskies are often used as working dogs, especially in cold climates for sledding and transportation. Their strength, endurance, and ability to thrive in harsh conditions make them ideal for these tasks. Additionally, huskies are popular in recreational activities like dog sledding and skijoring. However, they also make loving pets and companions for many families.

How do you get a dog breeder with a golden retriever to breed with your husky?

Any good, respectable Golden Retriever (or any, for that matter) breeder would not breed their animals with a Husky.

Thoughts like these are what causes the overpopulation problem, love. Hundreds of thousands of animals are abused and put to death due to careless owners and backyard breeders who merely want "cute puppies."

What are the kinds of huskies?

If you mean sled dog breeds?

Traditional sled dog breeds include the Siberian Husky, the Alaskan Malamute, the Chinook, the Sakhalin Husky, the Canadian Eskimo dog, the Seppala Siberian sled dog, the Tamaskan husky, the Samoyed, the Eurohound, the Mackenzie River husky, and the Greenland dog.

While these dogs are bred for the purpose of pulling a sled, many other breeds have been used, including mixed breeds. These days, that tradition lives on in sled dog racing, where the most popular breeds include the Alaskan Husky, and various cross breeds, often based on the German Shorthaired Pointer. However, many breeds have been used, including the poodle!

Alaskan huskies are favored in modern sled dog races because they are faster than traditional breeds like the Alaskan malamute or the Samoyed. They are not as strong, but in sled dog racing where speed is important, and the distances are shorter, Alaskan huskies were found to perform better. Alaskan husky dogs are not a recognized breed. They are bred for their performance, and so they cannot be easily characterized as a breed. Alaskan husky dogs represent a variety of types with different lines. They are hybrid dogs - a husky with another breed, that is determined by the needs and ideas of the breeders. A husky may be bred with a wolf, setters, or any other breed that can bring genetic advantages in speed and endurance.

Can a husky fight off an attacking rottweiler?

The husky could defeat the rottweiler, but it might be a little bit injured since the rottweiler is so strong in fighting. It's likely that the husky would not get seriously injured since it has thick fur/deep muscles to protect itself from the Rottweiler's strong bites, especially on the throat.

What is the tone for the half-husky by Margaret Laurence?

I would suppose that the tone of the short story the half husky would be idiotic because the short story itself does not make any sense... She was stupid to put in the story that Harvey lit Nanuks head on fire and that the mom didn't care. What kind of ending is it that Harvey robs an old Chinese man. She, to say the least is a raciest illiterate, idiotic person I know.

Uh to the answer above the tone is not idiotic in sense. In a general sense, 'tone' is the attitude of the speaker or writer as revealed in the choice of vocabulary or the intonation of speech. Idiotic is not an attitude. The tone of the story most likely is pity.

Are huskies common?

Do all huskies have two different color eyes?

Are Husky Liners a good value for the price?

"Husky Liners are definitely a good value for the price. The reasoning for this is because you're getting long-lasting material that won't rip within the first year. For the price that you're paying, the quality of the product is definitely worth it."

Why is your Husky vomiting?

What Different kinds of huskies?

there are two main types of huskies, the Malamute (pronounced mal-a-moo) and the Siberian husky. The Malamute is much larger, males can weigh anywhere from 50- 100 kgs. Siberians are much smaller, still tall but weigh far less, a male can weigh about 25kgs. Siberians were bred by using malamutes and wolves (I believe). They were bred because they are faster and lighter then Malamutes and need less food, so for pulling sleds they are better, they still have huge amounts of endurance, but not quite as much a malamute. Often for pulling sleds Malamutes will be used near the back, right in front of the sled driver, as they can handle the weight better, and the Siberians will form the rest of the pack.

There are also two other kinds of huskies. The Alaskan Husky, as well as the Mackenzie River Husky.

How fast are huskies?

Huskies are not born as terrific runners. If the dog is allowed to run a good deal every day it will then become stronger and healthier but it is not an immediate thing. They work much the same way as a human does; they require training and excersize to maintain their physical abilities. Yes, huskies are bred in a way that allows the instict of 'RUN' to be a good bit stronger and easily reached but every dog is different. The animal must be treated as an athlete if he is to perform like one.
