Because the PS3 is more advanced than the PS2 and a game is software designed to be run by the hardware inside the console. The PS2 does not have the PS3 hardware needed to run the software. It doesn't even have the Bluray laser needed to read a Bluray disc so the software can be read. The PS2 components are not as advanced as the PS3 and even when the software says store in the harddrive there is no harddrive to store it into. The PS2 is a fine console and is becoming very popular in some regions of the world.

Well.. if you have already added the picture to your ps3, then go to the playstation home screen (the screen right when you open your playstation) and go under the category that says "Photo." Under this category you will be able to see all of your photos that you have copied to your playstation. First make sure that your connection in the house isn't down or off. If it is then that should fix your problem. If it isn't make sure your cable isn't damaged or broken. If it is replace it and it should work. If non of those are the solution Make sure the PlayStation is ON then flick OFF the switch in the back, wait 10-15 seconds and flip it back ON and turn the PlayStation back ON. It should come up with a screen that says that the PlayStation wasn't turned off correctly and it will ask you if you want to make sure your PlayStation isn't corrupt. Select YES then wait for it to finish. This should fix your problem. If not I would contact SONY about the issue.

Depends what model you have (40gb, 60gb, 80gb etc.) and which region you live in/bought your ps3 (North-America, Europe, Asia etc.). Some ps3's come with this feature, so I suggest you find out which model you have and do a google search to see if it is compatible with ps2 games.

I am not sure of what you are asking. But the PSP has firmware (the stuff that makes the PSP have access to the internet, play videos, etc.). The discs to the PSP are called UMD discs. The only reason you could ever play PS2 games on the first PS3s was the game catalog for the PS3 was next to nothing. Once the catalog of games increased they dropped the ability to play PS2 games.

clean your vents make sure they are always well maintained and make sure your ps3 is always cool. dont put it into surrounded places or close places like closets or tv stands because the surrounding will keep the heat around ps3 causing it to overheat which will cause ylod. People that dont do this get ylod. I have fixed my ylod resoldering the motherboard and i have been keeping my vents clean have it on stand near the window with window little cracked open for it to be cooled down and no problems for over 2 years now.

They are businesses and of course since they will sell your your PS3 and Games for 3 times what you are paid they will take them in if they need those games and allow you to purchase the game and Xbox 360. You can not just exchange a used Black Ops PS3 for a Used Xbox 360 Black Ops you have to pay them maybe as high as $25-30

To rid yourself of unwanted throphies, one must create a brand new account with the PSN. This means losing all previous purchases made through the PS Store, and the downloads that are associated with the original account. This may mean eating tons of money, especially if the downloads are multiple purchases for GH or RB. Sad, but true. I do hope Sony adds the option to eliminate unwanted trophies. It can indeed be obnoxious to check one's trophies only to see those accomplished by other users who no longer use the console.
