Leonard Nimoy died on February 27, 2015 at the age of 83 years old in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California (birthdate: March 26, 1931). He died from complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The mission stardate for the first episode "The Man Trap" of Star Trek - The Original Series was 1513.1.

In Star Treks II and III, the character Spock downloaded his mind into an unconscious colleague, died, was regenerated to infancy, grew at an accelerated rate back to adulthood, and had his mind uploaded into his regenerated body through an ancient Vulcan ceremony. In order to enable the upload of Spock's mind into Spock's body, the Enterprise crew steals the Enterprise from space dock, pilots into a quarantined area, destroys the Enterprise, and steals a Klingon cruiser.

In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, the characters return to Earth to face court-martial charges for their actions. Upon arriving at Earth, they discover the planet under attack from a massive probe that is disrupting all power and communications. Spock, though still somewhat disoriented from his death and rebirth ordeal, determines that if the sonic emissions from the probe were filtered by water, they would mimic humpback whale song. Kirk decides to take the Klingon cruiser back in time to the point where humpback whales were last seen and try to bring one or more back to the future in hopes that the whale(s) can respond to and communicate with the probe. The crew arrives in late twentieth century San Francisco where they try to deal with monetary economics, supply problems, technological inadequacies, and spaceship repair needs.

Fortunately, they find a pair of humpback whales in captivity that are perfect - they are a mated pair, the female is pregnant, and the marine biologist that takes care of them wishes she could find them a new and safe home before their imminent re-introduction into the wild. All Kirk has to do is convince her that he, a man who appears to live in the park, who has no money, who doesn't own a car (or seem to know how to drive), and who travels with a perpetually stoned ex-hippie (the appearance Spock gives due to his disorientation, indiscriminant use of mind-melds, Vulcan attire and the head-band he uses to cover his alien ears and eyebrows), is the one person who can help.

The original Star Trek movie, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, was released in the United States on December 7, 1979. It was directed by Robert Wise and stars William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, and George Takei.

Leonard Nimoy has remained as Spock ever since Star Trek began. There was never a Spock before Nimoy. Although Nimoy has always played Spock, before production Deforest Kelly (Doctor McCoy) was cast as Spock but was later considered better suited to play Doctor McCoy.

Also, in the May 2009 movie; Nimoy will only be playing the older Spock since he is turning 78 on March 26th, 2009. Zachary Quinto will be playing the younger Spock in this movie.

Before Leonard McCoy, the doctor was Mark Piper played by the actor Paul Fix in the second pilot episode, and before him was Phillip Boyce played by John Hoyt in the first pilot episode. DeForest Kelly played the doctor in every other episode from 1966-69, and in the Star Trek movies until his death. Since the 1980's there have been other Star Trek doctors, but you will need to ask a younger person about them. For this contributor, the Star Trek of the 1960's is the First and Only.

People have said that he was a bad man who thought the show was all about him. He had a big ego. Most of the castmembers don`t like him. Execpt of course for Leonard Nimoy and the late Deforest Kelly. I never cared for him, but he does have a "warp sense of humor." As Leonard nimoy would say.

In which Star Trek??? If he wears a blue uniform and has a bit of hair round the edge of his head and features in Star Trek Voyager, chances are it is Robert Picardo or in Star Trek The Next Generation - Patrick Stewart. Bald is a very vague term ;)

When Star Trek was cancelled it did not suffer from low ratings. In fact, it was a top twenty show. However, the special effects of the day did cost a great deal. Because of this, the show was cancelled and to the heartbreak of millions of fans was replaced by Bracken's World.

The popularity of the show generating 3 Spin offs and movies proves that perhaps this was not the best decision.

Elizabeth Martin, William Shatner's fourth wife, is 27 years younger than he is. Her birthday is not readily available but she is about 55 years old in 2013.

It would depend.
